Research On The Plant Diversity Strategies In The Construction Of Urban Greenway

Currently,China is in the boom of urban greenway construction.People used to think that urban greenway is mainly for transportation and recreation,which leads to the ignorance of its ecological function and the loss of attention for the value of its plant diversity.The urban greenway is the essential ecological corridor for a city.The plant,as the basis of urban greenway,is also a very key factor for constructing the whole urban green ecological base.For this reason,ignoring the plant diversity of urban greenway would lead to the loss of urban habitats and the obstruction of propagation's migrated corridor,which would make the urban become ecological desert.With the gradual expansion of urban scale,moreover,the loss of urban biodiversity is increasingly threatening to the ecological environment and biodiversity in the whole region.Therefore,we need to rethink the significance of plant diversity in urban greenway for the whole city,and even the region's biodiversity and ecological environment.In the theoretical part,it studies on the relevant theories of urban greenway and its plant diversity and analyzes the constitution and main functions of urban greenway,also in cluding the evolution of theories in the field of plant diversity.Then,it analyzes the main factors of plant diversity from the three aspects of plant species,plant community character istics and landscape structure,which would build a theoretical basement for the research on diversity strategies for plant diversity in urban greenway.Thirdly,it argues that China has met several challenges from the construction of plant diversity in urban greenway.It also explains the necessity of studying on this issue,by the means of analyzing features and functions of plant diversity in the greenway.After the theoretical part,it puts forward the strategic framework for the construction of plant diversity in urban greenway based on three levels of different types,different scale s and social driving factors.Firstly,based on four different types of urban greenways,such as mountain-forest greenway,riverside greenway,green space greenway and road greenway,analyzing the characteristics of each type of greenway and the problems of plant diversity,proposing the corresponding construction strategies,and explaining by case study Secondly,based on three scales of urban greenways,such as macro scale,medium scale and microcosmic scale,proposing the corresponding construction strategies.On the macro scale,proposing the strategy of constructing greenway network.On the medium scale,putting forward three types of strategies which include spatial connectivity,suitability width and diversity of habitat types.On the microcosmic scale,proposing four types of strategies which include native plant construction,community natural succession,protozoan habitat protection and restoration,suitability habitat area.Thirdly,based on social driving factors,proposing to establish a multidisciplinary cooperation mode,set up management institution,formulate related policies and regulations,strengthen the public and social organizations to participate in,ensuring funding sources,etc.Through the comprehensive analysis of multiple points of view,as far as possible fully and improve plant diversity strategy research of urban greenway.From the perspective of landscape architecture,the research analyzes the problem of plant diversity,necessity and feasibility of urban greenway construction in our country,and propose systematic plant diversity construction strategies of urban greenway based on multiple perspectives.The research expands the research contents of landscape architecture discipline in the field,enrich the research theory and construction method.There is a certain theoretical and practical guiding significance to the practice of urban greenway plant diversity construction in our country.
