In the whole evolution process of the electric power industrial operation system,the uniform cooperation mechanism and the mutual competition mechanism have been working alternatively for adapting to the demands in different historical phases.Following the systematic framework of “control the center but open two ends”,the latest electric power marketization reform in China aimed to promote the power generation marketization reform and further open the electricity sale market.Under the new situation that multiple entities participate in the electricity distribution and sale businesses,there is an on-going new change in the original pattern of electric power market,and the diversity of trading entities will certainly result in a complex competition and cooperation(coopetition)relationship among various parties.The power generation side and the electricity sale side are two core parties in the market transactions during the new electric power industrial reform,and the mutual coopetition between various concerned entities is gradually carried out at different aspects and multiple levels,thus it is of practical significance to investigate the coopetition relation between various entities of these two parties under the new market structure.There are few previous studies of electric power market to discuss the competition and cooperation factors as study objects at the same time.Therefore,a new analysis mode needs to be explored considering the actual situation of electric power market and in the relevant theoretical research.Based on the pattern of electric power market after the new electric power industrial reform,altruistic preference was introduced as a continuous quantification index to measure the cooperation level in this study.With the power generation side and the electricity sale side(two core parties)in the electric power market as the coopetition system,the game equilibrium achievement and the optimal strategy selection of the two-sided entities under the mutual competition and moderate cooperation were quantitatively investigated using the non-cooperative game method,so as to provide a quantitative reference for the surveillance and decision-making of electric power market in the current stage.Our study mainly involves the following contents:1.With the important policies of the new electric power industrial reform as the background,we stated the significance of the studied issues,briefly introduced the basic operation situation of electric power market,combed the development status of Chinese electric power market,and elaborated the development history,policy highlights and market transaction mode of the new electric power industrial reform.Furthermore,we mainly summarized the available study literatures about the strategies and equilibrium of electric power market,described the game theory-based study methods in details by sort,comparatively evaluated the current studies,presented the basic concepts and research status of the concerned theories,and outlined the related game methods.2.The independent settlement of transmission and distribution electricity prices was proposed in the new electric power industrial reform,which makes the direct electricity purchase become the mainstream business in the electricity sale market.As the direct electricity purchase price is generally lower than the benchmark electricity price and the direct trading electricity quantity must be deducted from the planned annual electricity quantity by capacity,the power companies may face a situation of “the reduction in both the quantity and price of electricity”.In this study,we quantitatively investigated the mutually altruistic cooperation relationship between power companies which was resulting from the competition to prevent the profit reduction of the power generation side in the direct electricity purchase business.Besides,we introduced slight altruistic preference to reflect the moderate cooperation between power companies,established a polypolitic Cournot coopetition game model,constructed a quantitative relation between the mutually altruistic level and the optimal equilibrium trading electricity quantity(price),analyzed the effects of mutually altruistic coopetition on various equilibrium variables,figured out the electricity price subsidy coefficient for stabilizing the fluctuation of electricity quantity under coopetition and measuring the degree of market coopetition,and discussed the optimal decision region for realizing the coopetition relation and the judgment of its stability by using a cases.Then,we further established a repeated game model of long-term coopetition between power companies,analyzed the necessary conditions for long-term coopetition equilibrium in the power generation market,created a quantitative function of trading power output,altruistic factor and discount factor,validated and achieved the judgment and adjustment on the stability of long-term coopetition relation.3.The multi-pathway cultivation of electricity retailers was proposed in the electricity sale marketization reform,which makes the power companies access to the electricity sale market by the integrated operation mode of power generation and electricity sale and thus realize the operation of whole electric power industrial chain.In this study,we quantitatively analyzed the coopetition relation between power companies and electricity retailers of power groups integrating power generation and electricity sale in the internal interest games.Under the condition of mutual altruism,we established a “one-to-more” Leontief coopetition game model separately for power companies and electricity retailers,and figured out their optimal equilibrium electricity quantity(price)under coopetition by scenario.Thereafter,we transformed the game model into the BLPP model and then sought the solution using K-K-T condition and GA algorithm.By the simulation of cases,we further found the optimal solution set of coopetition strategies for power companies and electricity retailers,worked out the optimal coopetition strategy of electricity retailers,identified the key factors increasing the overall profit of the system,analyzed the influence of mutually altruistic coopetition on various equilibrium variables of power companies and electricity retailers,and revealed a phenomenon that the excessive profits of the integrated operating power groups flowed to the electricity retailers.4.The independent electricity retailers are the important entities with a large number and a low access threshold in the electricity sale market.In the long-term trading games between independent electricity retailers and power companies,a “more buyer and more seller” complex cluster pattern of electric power market is gradually being formed.In this study,we investigated the increasingly frequent coopetition relation between independent electricity retailers and power companies in the electricity purchase and sale business,established a sequential game model separately for them based on the condition of mutual altruism,figured out the optimal equilibrium electricity quantity(price)under coopetition,and analyzed the effects of mutual altruism on various equilibrium variables and their correlations with the channel models.In addition,we further established an evolution dynamic model for long-term coopetition between independent electricity retailers and power companies,quantified the feasible region of altruistic factor by scenario,achieved the judgment on the evolutionary stabilization strategies of coopetition relationship between independent electricity retailers and power companies by combining a case,pointed out the internal and external factors influencing the evolution pathways and results,and further realized the quantitative adjustment on the evolution direction of the abovementioned coopetition relation.
