In this study,the nutritional value of moringa oleifera as a new feed resource and its application in the production of aquaculture were evaluated.This study evaluated moringa from five aspects.In the first experiment,we studied the evaluation of moringa oleifera,determined the nutrition composition,fatty acid and amino acid of moringa oleifera.the highest protein content in the three parts of moringa oleifera was the leaves of moringa oleifera,the vaule was the 253 g kg-1 DM.Then the moringa branch and moringa stem,both of that were all below 100 g kg-1 DM.The content of the NDF and ADF was highest in the moringa leaf.The value were the 820%g kg-1 DM and 617 g kg-1 DM,respectively.The contents of fatty acids and unsaturated fatty acids in moringa oleifera leaf were the highest,while linolenic acid,palmitic acid and linoleic acid were the highest.In the second experiment,the rumen degradation characteristics of moringa was tested.The rumen degradation rate and degradation parameters of moringa leaf,moringa branch and moringa stem were studied using the nylon bag method.The degradation rates of moringa oleifera were different in different parts,with the highest degradation rates of DM,CP,OM,NDF and ADF of moringa oleifera leaf,followed by moringa branch,and the lowest degradation rates of moringa stem.In the third experiment,the effect of moringa leaf on the production performance,meat quality and antioxidant properties of finishing pigs were stuied.The growth performance and feed conversion efficiency were improved and the backfat thickness were reduced by moringa leaf.The antioxidant index were both improved in the blood and pork.And the moringa leaf increased the proportion of unsaturated fatty acids and reduce the n-6:n-3 ratio in the pork.The suitable dosage of moringa oleifera in finishing pigs diets was 6%.In the forth experiment,the effect of moringa on the production performance,milk quality and antioxidant properties of cows were stuied.The growth performance were improved by moringa.The milk fat rate and total milk solid content were increased,and the number of milk scomatic cells was decreased.The antioxidant index were both improved in the blood and beef.And the moringa increased the proportion of unsaturated fatty acids and the n-3 unsaturated fatty acids and reduce the n-6:n-3 ratio in the beef.The suitable dosage of moringa oleifera in cows diets was 6%.In the fifth experiment,the effect of moringa on the production performance,meat quality and antioxidant properties of finishing steers were stuied.The growth performance and feed conversion efficiency were improved and the backfat thickness were reduced by moringa.The volatile fatty acid content and the propionate proportion were increased,however,the acetic acid proportion was decreased by moringa.The antioxidant index were both improved in the blood and beef.And the moringa increased the proportion of unsaturated fatty acids and reduce the n-6:n-3 ratio in the beef.The suitable dosage of moringa oleifera in finishing steers diets was 6%.In conclusion,moringa leaf can be used in pig production,moringa stem can be used in the dairy and beef cattle production,and all have promote animal growth and improve the role of animal health,at the same time can improve the meat and milk quality.The optimum amount of moringa in the diet of finshing pigs,cows and beef cattle was 6%.
