According to the psychology of Gozan(??)'s monks during the Muromachi(??)Period,this dissertation chose the theoretical vision of the dislocated East Asia regional historical space.It revolved around three sets of problems regarding the interaction between Poetry and Zen(?)from 11th to 15th centuries.Firstly,the monk Xuedou Chongxian(????)in early stage of the Northern Song Dynasty(??)attached great importance to the Quotation,helping Zen to take a road to the literary development.Secondly,the poetics represented by Su Shi(??)and Huang Tingjian(???)in the middle stage of the Northern Song Dynasty,was handed from the scholiasts of Song Dynasty to the scholiasts of Gozan.Thereby a tradition of annotation supplied to Su and Huang poetry was formed in East Asia.Tian Xia Bai and Zhang Zhong Xiang,written by the Zen Master of Gozan Banri Shikku(????),are outstanding examples of annotations given to poetry of the Song Dynasty.Thirdly,Banri Shikku not only devoted half of his life to lecture and annotation of the poems of Su and Huang,but he himself was also a pure Chinese poet.How big was his anthology Mei Hua Wu Jin Zang(?????),had more than one thousand and seven hundred works.In addition,this thesis has two appendices.One is a review of Collection of Wakokubon forthe Lost WorksinAncient China(??????????).The other is translation of a Japanese paper that introduces several precious ancient versions of Awakening of Faith in the Mahayana(?????)collected by Kyoto University(????).All the materials include both traditional Chinese classics as well as Asian Classics in Chinese(????)involving all three levels.The dissertation adopts a method of comprehensive study based on philology and targets the history of literary thought.
