A Research On The History Of North Han Dynasty

In 951,Liu Chong established the Northern Han Dynasty regime in Taiyuan,taking advantage of Shanxi's unique geographical conditions.Later,the regime played a long and arduous game with the later Zhou Dynasty and the Northern Song Dynasty in the Central Plains.It was not until the Northern Song Army came under the city of Taiyuan in 979 that the 29-year separatist regime in northern China was abolished.The Northern Han Dynasty was an important regime in the Northern China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms,and the academic circles paid little attention to it in the past.At the same time,the Northern Han Dynasty is also an ancient regime that must be explored in the study of Shanxi's local regional history.On the basis of studying the ancient literature and the research works of the predecessors,the author probes into the history of the Northern Han Dynasty from five aspects.The introduction mainly introduces the review of the academic history and the significance of the study of the regime in the Northern Han Dynasty.And explain the research ideas and methods of this paper.Chapter one,This paper mainly introduces various favorable conditions of the Northern Han Dynasty's separatist regime in Shanxi,such as Shanxi's strategic position is prominent due to its superior geographical position,its ethnic composition is complex and the people worship military force,its economic foundation is relatively developed,and the city of Taiyuan is strong.At the same time,it simply outlines the scope of the prefectures and counties controlled by the Northern Han Dynasty and economic products.Chapter two,Introduce the political system and financial economy of the Northern Han Dynasty.The political system of the Northern Han Dynasty mainly changed from the vassal town system to the local separatist court system.The rules and regulations of the Northern Han Dynasty imitated those of the Later Han Dynasty.The financial and economic income of the Northern Han Dynasty is relatively considerable,but because the Northern Han Dynasty served the Liao State for a long time and fought with the Central Plains,its domestic financial revenue was not enough,and finally the economy had to rely on the assistance of the Liao State.Chapter three,this paper mainly discusses the history of the game between the three emperors of the Northern Han Dynasty and the Central Plains Dynasty during their reign.In particular,it points out that the failure in the game with the Central Plains Dynasty made the Northern Han Dynasty have to adjust its strategy of the Central Plains.The Northern Han Dynasty further attached itself to the Liao Kingdom and became a veritable separatist regime.Chapter four,this chapter also takes the three emperors of the Northern Han Dynasty as the demarcation point,focusing on the changes of Liao-Han relations in these three periods.The splitting of the Central Plains gave the fishermen of Liao a chance to gain profits.The latter Zhou first drew up the Liao State,hoping that the Liao State would not be antagonistic to the Central Plains.However,the Liao State had its own plans and threatened the Northern Han Dynasty.The Northern Han Dynasty conceded a lot of benefits to Liao and allied with Liao to attack the Central Plains.The powerful Central Plains Dynasty made Liao change from strategic offensive to defensive,and Liao and Han adjusted their foreign strategies respectively.Later,the Northern Han Dynasty was more dependent on Liao,and Liao's interference in the internal affairs of the Northern Han Dynasty reached its peak.The finance of the Northern Han Dynasty was exhausted,although it was barely maintained with the vigorous assistance of the Liao State.But eventually the Northern Han Dynasty was doomed to be destroyed by the Song Dynasty.Chapter five,this chapter mainly outlines the process of the destruction of the Northern Han Dynasty and discusses the internal and external causes of the destruction of the Northern Han Dynasty.The Northern Song Dynasty had destroyed all the separatist regimes in the South in 1978.It was the general trend for the Northern Song Dynasty to take over Taiyuan.Song Tai zong summed up the failure and lessons of the predecessors in attacking Taiyuan,and made full preparations before attacking Taiyuan.The political atmosphere in the Northern Han Dynasty was very tense,and some loyal ministers were killed innocently.These are not conducive to the construction and development of the Northern Han Dynasty regime.The exhaustion of financial economy is very unfavorable to the development of the regime in the Northern Han Dynasty,which is also a major factor in the collapse of the Northern Han Dynasty.
