Research On The Moral Intention And Its Cultivation

The good moral intension is the source for people to pursue a noble moral state and an ideal moral life.In the period of a special moral transformation,the construction of the new moral system is not perfect.The moral deficiency,moral indifference,moral anxiety and other issues have been highlighted.This leads to the fact that the social well-intentioned expectation gradually weakened and people’s inner moral will be unconsciously obscured.Moral intension makes moral human and society possible.We should concern about the moral intension and its cultivation,explore the generating process and the rules of individual moral intension,and analyze the realistic problems and causes in the cultivation of current moral intension,which is the theoretical premise to optimize the moral education and the indispensable measure to improve the social moral construction.This research focuses on the questions of "what the moral intension is" and "how the moral intension is generated"and makes an innovative and systematic research on the basic theories of moral intension.Meanwhile,it focuses on the practical problems of the cultivation of moral intension and tries to analyze the causes of the problems and explore-possible solutions.The dissertation is composed of five parts,which covers the connotation,characteristics,function,generating and influencing factors of moral intension,and tries to put forward the principles and methods of cultivating moral intension and the possible countermeasures to improve the cultivation on the basis of a detailed analysis.The first part is "the connotation of moral intension",which mainly discusses moral intension’s concepts,characteristics and functions.This research states that moral intension refers to the good human thoughts,which includes thoughts of kindness cultivation and thoughts of mercy."Moral intension" has different phases:"moral wishes" and "moral purposes".This research also distinguishes the differences,links between "moral intension","moral consciousness","moral judgment","moral needs" and "moral motivation",as well as their different functions in individuals’moral development.Moreover,this dissertation concludes moral intension’s concepts and discusses its functions.The second part is "the generation of moral intension and the influencing factors",which analyzes the generating condition of moral intension,the process of formation and the rules and the influencing factors.First of all,the dissertation reflects the current research on the moral generation from the individual and historical perspectives.The dissertation summarizes the objective and subjective conditions for the formation of moral intension,such as moral consensus,moral communication,moral practice,moral conflicts and other objective conditions,as well as moral cognitive ability,moral empathy ability,moral perception ability,moral self-control ability and other subjective conditions.The dissertation points out that the formation of moral intension can be divided into three main stages:germinating "moral wishes",stimulating "moral purpose" and achieving "moral intention".The germination of"moral desire" includes cognitive internalization,emotional internalization and behavior Internalization and interactive internalization.The stimulation of "moral intention" needs to experience situational awareness,situational response and situational judgment.The achievement of "moral intention" is divided into the realization and sublimation of moral intension.The formation of moral intension usually follow the rules "the unity of internalization and externalization","the contradictions of activity and conditionality","the alternation of strengthening and weakening" and "the synchronization of stages and continuity".The formation of moral intention is influenced by the customs and social public opinions in the macro aspects,and by moral incentives and moral situation’s constraints in the micro aspects.The third part is "the practical problems of cultivating moral intention" focusing on the current moral intention and its outstanding problems.The research points out that the current individual’s moral intention shows the problems such as the concealment,the weakening and the conflict,which is embodied in lacking moral consciousness and moral responsibility,moral indifference,moral anxiety and moral choice at a loss.The research holds that the noticeable problems of current moral intention are inadequate conscious participation,fewer scientific researches,less overall concern and insufficient continuous rational drive.The reason lies in that the interaction between the government and the people has not been fully constructed,the theoretical guidance to practice has not been fully exerted,the network’s guiding function to public opinion has not yet been effectively realized and the long-term mechanism of cultivating and practicing has not yet been formed.The fourth part is "principles and methods of the cultivation of moral intension",which puts forward the majority principles of moral intension’s cultivation as well as feasible methods in self-improvement and education guidance.To cultivate moral intension,as the dissertation discusses,a specific aim should be set and insisted;explaining in words and teaching by examples should be taken as methods;knowledge and ability should be taken as content;education and self-culivation should be the main ways.There are several methods to cultivate moral intension,such as high ideals,moral introspection,volition,good behaviors and public service.Moreover,to improve the immune system of moral,the subjectivity moral personality should be cultivated by educational guidance,the recessive moral needs stimulated,the basic moral emotion and moral imagination should be constructed.The fifth part focuses on how to improve the effects of the cultivation of moral intention.Its strategy includes the following aspects:the cohesion of moral consensus,leading the moral pursuit,reinforcing the moral strength and prevailing moral custom to enhance the effectiveness.First,the core values should bond with the moral consensus that advocates goodness,lead the development of moral intention’s consensus and blend into the whole cultivating process.The moral intention should be improved in the process of implementing the core values.Second,understand the encouraging characteristics of moral models and use it to lead the moral pursuit;promote the modern transformation of moral models to resolve the estrangement situation of the models;explore models in particular group to stimulate the intention of learning.Third,use laws to educate citizens to strengthen the goodness moral;the laws should show fair value,be in line with the people’s wills and form and solidify good intentions.Finally,we should build good surroundings to advocate goodness,guide the spread of moral public opinions,purify the social morality,strengthen its supervision,regulate the ethical responsibility of the media,timely respond to moral events and reasonably guide public opinions.
