Textual Research On Liu Zhonghua And The Relevant Historical Events

Liu Zhonghua,the main figure of this thesis,is one of the pioneers of the Communist Youth League in Shanxi,whose party introducer is Li Dazhao.Liu Zhonghua used to be the leader of the Central Intelligence Agency of C.P.C.and the Acting Secretary of the Provisional Central Bureau of C.P.C.in Shanghai.Though his experience went through the entire New Democratic Revolution Period,due to the limited historical resource,he didn't deserve the proper remarks and records.Based on the historical data collected and sorted out,the thesis inspects and corrects the personal narratives of Liu Zhonghua,while analyzing and evaluating the relevant historical events.The thesis is divided into four sections.The first section is the introduction,which describes the reason and significance for selecting the topic,the academic research trends and the research space of the topic.It also introduces the innovation as well as the deficiency,the thinking and framework and the references etc..The second section ranges from the Chapter one to the chapter five,which makes a systematic investigation of Liu Zhonghua's life story.Meanwhile,this section also verifies sorts of historical accounts comprehensively applied to within the essential links to display Liu Zhonoghua's activities in different stages.Chapter one aims to survey Liu Zhonghua's family background,the early stage of education and revolution of him.According to the historical information newly excavated and large amounts of cultural and historical records,this thesis recovers the student strike of No.1 high school in Shanxi leaded by Liu Zhonghua and describes his work in Feng Yuxiang and Yang Hucheng's army,which reflects his early stage of revolution.Chapter two aims to survey the experience of Liu Zhonghua from entering the Central Military Committee of C.P.C.in Shanghai to shutting down the Provisional Central Bureau of C.P.C.in Shanghai.In this period,Liu Zhonghua was secretly engaged in the work of transportation,military,intelligence and destruction.When he was in charge of the Central Intelligence Agency of C.P.C.,he covered many C.P.C.leaders,such as Zhou Enlai,Ye Jianying,Nie Rongzhen,Chen Yun etc..In the mean time,he was responsible for liaising with the patriotic personage such as Ji Hongchang,Deng Baoshan,Chenli,Huang Shenxiang,Liu Zhongrong etc..He also leaded the intelligence personnel such as Wang Shiying,Xie Fusheng,Xiang Yunian,Jing Renqiu,Lu Zhiying,Zhang Yumin etc..In addition,Liu Zhonghua and the intelligence personnel obtained the valuable intelligence of the encirclement war from K.M.T..Following with the order of the Communist International and the delegation of C.P.C.in the Communist International,his obligation was to restore the institutional framework,the leadership of the departments of Shanghai,the leadership of the organization of the some provinces in white areas and the connection with the Northern Bureau.While leading the bureau,Liu Zhonghua took the responsibility of leading the Central Intelligence Agency and radio station of C.P.C.,contacting with the representatives from the Communist International and the A.C.F.T.U..That's Communist International and the delegation of C.P.C.in the Communist International had a suspicion that the Central Intelligence Agency had been controlled by the K.M.T..As the leaders of the Central Intelligence Agency,the case of Liu Zhonghua and the others all had been investigated.The thesis focused to find the reason why his relation to the C.P.C.had been broken suddenly off.What's worse,the matters had made Liu Zhonghua persecuted and had been the cause to his persecution.In addition,Liu Zhonghua signed his name on the letter written by the intelligence personnel from Shanghai to prevent Mao Zedong from marrying with Jiang Qing,which was another possible cause to his death.Based on the investigation and evaluation,the fourth section summarizes the lifetime of Liu Zhonghua.Liu Zhonghua was engaged in the revolution activities in the era when China was in radical change.That's why he had to be faced with the misapprehension.But he still worked with strict standards for the benefit of Chinese people,the benefit of C.P.C..As a secret intelligence personnel,most of Liu Zhonghua's work is still disclosed,however,his devotion to the party as well as to the revolution career deserves to be recorded and praised.
