In recent years,with the discovery and publication of the text materials of the Warring States,researching achievements of the Warring States phonic loan characters is fruitful,the studies of the phonic loan characters in Chu and Qin Bamboo slips of which are the most important parts.The study of the phonic loan characters of the non-bamboo and non-silk slips in Warring States is relatively weak.So we choose the phonic loan characters of the non-bamboo and non-silk slips in Warring States as the research object to make a more comprehensive study and arrangement.We hope to provide a reliable reference for the paleography,ancient history,ancient philology,archaic Chinese phonology and other related fields.In the introduction of the paper,it defines and explains some fundamental conception,including the phonic loan characters and the Warring States script.And then it introduces study status in recent years about the Warring States phonic loan characters,and the same time it discusses the purpose and significance of the research.At last,it explains the materials used in the paper and the principle of word collection.The main part of this paper is divided into three chapters.In the first chapter,it collates and enumerates the certain character examples of the non-bamboo and non-silk slips in Warring States.Most of these examples are reached agreements in the academic circles,and can be used as a statute.All cases of phonic loan characters are arranged in the 30 vowel order,which drafted by Wang Li.And the cases are arranged in initial consonant order in the same vowel.Cases are marked consonant and vowel in each group of phonic loan characters,and enumerated the relevant examples.These examples not only include the material of different countries,but also cover different text carriers,such as bronzeware,weapon,metal currency,seal,lute,inscription on pottery,stoneware,and so on.In order to make a thorough investigation and comparison,it lists the same use case in ancient books and Chu and Qin Bamboo Slips.It also notes the source of citation and the description of the related issues in the footnote.In the second chapter of this paper,It lists the uncertain character examples of the non-bamboo and non-silk slips in Warring States.This part is not the text variorum,but the collections of research results which are about phonic loan characters.It lists the relevant views in a rewritten or partially quoted way,and give our supplement and explanation about some opinions in the form of note at the end of the entry.In the third chapter,it explains the problem that should be paid attention to,from the direction of word research and explain,pronunciation,use of words,and so on,which is based on the characters of Warring States period.In the appendix of this paper,it lists a number of suspicious materials,and some seals on the occasion of the Qin and Han Dynasties.These materials are not in the scope of the material we used.At the end of the paper,we made the entry index of phonic loan characters,word index,abbreviations of reference books,and the reference.
