The Research Of Modern Transformation Of Taoism Discourse System

From the perspective of the modern transformation of Chinese academic discourse system,this dissertation analyzes modern transformation of Taoism discourse system in terms of its historical backgrounds,theories,categories,methodologies,aesthetics handwritings,characteristics,references,gains and losses as well as causes.lt believed that Marxism discourse system and ancient doubting discourse system have exerted tremendous influence on the studies of Taoism in modern times.For example,researches on Laozi philosophy thought,Laozi economic thought and Laozi political thought are affected a lot by western academic discourse system in the aspects of philosophy,economics and politics.Marxist scholar's study on Laozi is greatly influenced by Marxism discourse system and ancient doubting discourse system has a strong impact on Laozi's textual research.Case studies in this dissertation pay much attention to the process,orientation and reasons of the transformation of Taoism discourse system by Zhang Taiyan and finds that his study reflects the interactions between the construction of the modern transformation of Chinese academic discourse system and social responsesin modern times.Besides,it also studies the new understandings about the thirteenth chapter of the book Lao Tzuin the process of constructing the modern transformation of Taoism discourse system and analyzes the various understandings and reasons from different periods of ancient times,modern and contemporary academic discourse system.Therefore,it can be concluded that studies in ancient and contemporary times highly stressed the importance of "oneself" that is to say giving its priority to the values of one's own life,while studies in modern times attached greater significance to "others" and paid more attention to realize one's social value.The reason why modern times study emphasizes the importance of realizing the social value of "oneself" is that salvaging China from subjugation was an urgent mission for the Chinese nation in that time and every single Chinese was prepared to sacrifice himself to realizing the rejuvenation of our nation.The dissertation further studies the rationalities and limitations of the transformation of the modern Chinese academic discourse system during the modern transition of the Taoism discourse system and reckons that there are necessities and realities in the transformation from Chinese traditional academic discourse system into modern academic discourse system.With regard to its necessities,it is important to positively deal with the new international and domestic situation including capitalist world system,invasion of western colonialism and a series of advanced and civilized discourse from western world.With respect to its realities,Chinese people urgently need to realize the national independence and prosperity.The construction of modern transformation of Chinese academic discourse system caters tothe needs of changeable situation in modern China society,accumulates the fundamental experience of the construction of modern Chinese academic discourse system,absorbs the good elements in western academic discourse system and promotes the modern transformation and innovation of Chinese academic discourse system.As for its limitations,there is still much room to be improved on the rationality and inheritance of Chinese traditional academic discourse system,the lack of studies on the regionality and limitations of western academic discourse system and how to improve the aboriginality and creativity of the Chinese academic discourse system could also be strengthened in the future.
