| "Chan Zhen Yi Shi "is a long historical novel in late Ming Dynasty.The book consists of eight volumes and 40 chapters,with a length of 400,000 words,which is considered to be another classical work after the four great masterpiece in the Ming Dynasty.This book was based on the history of the Southern and Northern dynasties in China and reflected the author’s unique views on the ideal life.It was loved and valued by Han readers and researchers,as well as Mongolian readers.The book was translated into Mongolian during the Qing Dynasty,spreading widely in the eastern Mongolia region(including the eastern part of Inner Mongolia and the three northeastern provinces of China)and Khalkha Mongolia region(now Mongolia).The study on Mongolian translation of "Chan Zhen Yi Shi" is an important subject in the study of the relationship between Mongolian and Chinese literature and the theory of comparative literature in Qing Dynasty.The author privately collected the Mongolian version of Khorchin collective edition of Chan Zhen Yi Shi,the Mongolian collective edition of Chan Zhen Yi Shi collected by National Library of Mongolia,the original works of the Chinese language and so on and he did numerous multi-perspective comparative studies on which this research is based.By means of philological suppression and textual research,this paper is attempt to clarify the principle of the original translation of the Mongolian text,and to analyze the changes of the Mongolian version of "Chan Zhen Yi Shi" by using the method of comparative literature variation.The dissertation consists of five parts:introduction,main body(four chapters),conclusions,references and appendices.The introduction composes of topics,research overview,research objectives and significance,text description,etc.In the first chapter,both Chinese version and Mongolian version of Chan Zhen Yi Shi is introduced comprehensively.Meanwhile,the author has expressed his opinions on the problems of the author and editor of the original works in Chinese.In addition,the original Chinese version for the two different Mongolian versions of "Chan Zhen Yi Shi" are examined and corrected separately.The second chapter is a systematic study of the Mongolian translation of Khorchin version "Chan Zhen Yi Shi" and the original works of the Chinese language.In the process of Mongolian translation,the book was processed from many aspects,such as language culture,folk culture,and through re-creation,it becomes a historical story preferred by Mongolian people.The third chapter makes a comparative study of the Mongolian translation of Khalkha version of "Chan Zhen Yi Shi" and the original works of Chinese.In the process of translation of this edition,the translator modifies the original works of the Chinese language,changing its prose into rhyme.It doesn’t only make the whole novel a perfect combination of rhyme and prose,but also creates a new genre of translatology,which combines narrative and lyricism.It is pointed out that this innovation is caused by the influence of Mongolian traditional genres.In Chapter four the author explains the similarities and differences between the two versions through the comparative study of the two different Mongolian versions of "Chan Zhen Yi Shi".It shows the features of Mongolian culture in different regions in Qing Dynasty.It is found that the original works in Chinese have been rewritten to different degrees.There are similarities between the characters’ images and the description of the environment.Comparatively speaking,Mongolian translation of Khorchin version has more adaptation in content,and the Khalka version has more changes in genre.Consequently the two versions are different in structure,genre,regional culture,etc. |
