The paper first analyzes advantages and disadvantages of experience in South Korea and cognition according to of several phases of experience in South Korea and cognition, investigates dual identity of Korean Chinese applying postcolonial literary theory and poetic viewpoint of diaspora and discusses potential creativity of marginal literature of Korean Chinese. And then according to the depth of cognition of Korean Chinese in South Korea, the change of cultural identity, and the change of themes and artistic forms, literary texts are to studied in three phases in terms of proses, poetry, and novels.1)ProsesSince 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, memories and essays have become to be published. The works have recorded the personal discrimination and contempt that Korean Chinese suffered in South Korea, and exposed their sorrow and sadness as outsiders and foreigners.Jin Zai-guo witnessed the conflicts and hostility between native Koreans and Korean Chinese during his life of studying in South Korea, and spoke for the sorrow and sufferings of Korean Chinese. He criticized the modern civilization in a premodern way of morality, while Liu Yan-shan suggested overcoming distrust and hostility between native Koreans and Korean Chinese and curing mutual injuries by bringing forth the principle of humanitarianism by Dangun, legendary founding father of Korea.Jin Ge depicted invitation fraud directed to Korean Chinese who dreamed of going to South Korea to make fortune, and enhanced the power of image with proper similes and metaphors as well as clear cases and rigid writing style.Jin Wen-xue revealed personal fragmentation and identity confusion in the process of touching and conflicting with foreign culture, but however, showed the change of identity of Korean Chinese intellectuals who were striving for their dreams in Seoul Story of the Third Generation of Korean Chinese.2)PoetryIn the early phases of chasing Korean Dream, the poetry focused on efforts to search ethnic identity which were represented by poetic images of immigration sufferings and nostalgia, and passion for unification of home country.Establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea in August,1992 was highly praised by Li Cheng-fei as the special day for normalization to both countries.Jin Zhe-and Yin Qing-nan eulogized the enthusiasm for unification of home country and the inevitability of realization to soothe the pain of division of home country.Next, poems reflecting devastation of rural community and exhausting life of Korean Chinese in South Korea are discussed.Jin Ying-long displayed the agony of separated couples, the difficulty of marriage for elder bachelors,break-up of families, and the collapse of rural community from the standpoint of ethnic-realism.Lin Jin-zhe reflected authentically the existential situation of Korean Chinese who were working at the risk of their life in construction industry sites for the family.Yin He-xie sublimated the love for the family members in China into that for other ethnic groups, and ultimately to universal love for human beings.Last, the Korean Chinese poets in China like Shi Hua confirmed the hybridity of Yanbian, the heart of Korean Chinese residence, praised highly the persistent vitality of the public, exposed and criticized the evil of modern civilization which naturally led to the poems of feminism and ecology.3)NovelsIn the early phases of chasing Korean Dream,South Korea is the heartwarming place to make a big fortune at one stroke. But Korean Chinese felt the obvious alienation from native Koreans and experienced mutual mistrust, hostility, resentment and conflict. They began to the deep question of Korean Chinese identity. At the same time, while working with native Koreans,Korean Chinese came to discover the humanity and brotherly love which were deep-rooted in the mind of native Koreans, and could have a deeper understanding. It could be said that Korean Chinese and native Koreans have had a mutual understanding and reconciliation in South Korea even though they experienced conflicts and hostility. In contrast,Piao Yu-nan and Jiang Zai-xi's works described the devastated Korean Chinese society owing to the chase for Korean Dream.Especially Li Hui's work showed the tragic result of a husband in the city who sent his wife to South Korea to make money but was unable to satisfy his own sexual desire.Xu Lian-shun criticized the incompetent and clumsy males, but depicted vividly the positive image of the females who were isolated and intimidated by the custom of predominance of men over women, became mature in the process of finding out their own self, and challenging the society with various fictional devices and techniques. When the whole process of experience in South Korea and literary writing is surveyed, the Korean Chinese writers adjust national identity from a fantasy and illusion of South Korea via conflicts and torments of reality, and meanwhile writing materials return from experience of South Korea to China which has formed a rising spiral structure with one central axis.Next, the novels which portrayed the images of and relationship with Han Chinese are investigated in order to study the identity change of Korean Chinese writers.Cui Guo-zhe and others showed persistent vitality of Han Chinese,Korean Chinese understanding of Han Chinese customs and habits, fatalistic coexistence and harmony between Korean Chinese and Han Chinese. To sum up,Korean Chinese writers have enlarged the scope of experience in South Korea and Literary writing, accepted the influence of world literature including Korean literature to create brand new personal characters, display vividly the process of cultural identity conflicts and adjustment and criticize the modern civilization. They have also applied the techniques of modernism such as irony, paradox, intertextuality and parody to show the potential creativity of boundary-zone literature in its fullness, and therefore opened the door for Korean Chinese literature to dialogue and communicate with Korean literature,Chinese mainstream literature, and world literature.
