A Study Of Clan Drama In Ming And Qing Dynasties

In Chinese traditional society,the patriarchal clan is the most widely distributed social organization,and the clan relationship is the most important social relationship.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the development of clan is at peak in our country,and it is also a period of high prosperity of opera art.At the beginning of the middle Ming Dynasty,the activities of clan drama rose gradually,and the clan and opera were closely related at many levels.The investigation of the activities of clan drama can not only probe into the important influence of opera on people's daily life,but also reveal the positive influence of clan activities in promoting the prosperity and development of opera.The main research objects of this paper are the activities of the clan in the Ming and Qing dynasties,and the main sources of literature,are genealogy,local chronicles,literary collections,inscriptions of traditional Chinese operas,etc.By using the theories and methods of sociology,folklore,history,religion,opera and other related subjects,this paper systematically combs and analyses them on the basis of previous studies.This article is divided into eight chapters,the first chapter briefly describes the evolution of clan system and the development of clan drama on the basis of referring to the previous research results,so as to have a macroscopic understanding of clan drama activities;In the second chapter,the author makes a comprehensive investigation on the scenes of the clan drama,and reveals the flexibility and diversity of the scenes of the clan drama;The third chapter focuses on the main types of the clan drama,showing the richness and universality of the clan drama;The fourth chapter,by combing the operas of some major opera provinces,outlines the overall style of the clan drama and its uniqueness in the performance of individual plays;The fifth chapter discusses the social function of the clan play drama,discusses the complementary close relationship between the clan and the Opera;The sixth chapter analyzes the family rules related to opera performance,and describes the multiple influences of the family rules on opera performance in Ming and Qing dynasties;The seventh chapter combs the drama activities of the main quyi families in the Ming and Qing dynasties,discussed the important contribution of quyi family in inheriting and developing opera art;The eighth chapter discusses the influence of clan migration on the dissemination of opera art through several large-scale immigration activities in the Ming and Qing dynasties.Through combing and analyzing,we have such a clear understanding of the clan drama: clan drama is an important part of the rural drama,and has a huge impact on the norms of daily life.On the one hand,the Clan drama activities play an important role in promoting the prosperity and dissemination of opera art,especially local operas,because of its extensive,frequent,diverse and flexible characteristics;On the other hand,traditional Chinese opera art enhances the cohesion of clan and promotes the development of clan culture by giving play to the social functions of sacrifice,enlightenment,entertainment,communication and so on.In this paper,rich literature and materials are used to delineate the grand scale of the drama of the clan,and reveal the inexplicable relationship between the clan and the opera.Clan culture and opera culture are important parts of Chinese traditional culture.In this paper,the opera and clan activities are combined to study,Traditional Chinese Opera Art and Clan activities are each other's perspectives and objects.It not only expands the horizon and space of the study,but also helps to understand the multiple relationship between clan activities and the development of opera art,and then to explore new academic research points.At the same time,by exploring the relationship between clan and opera,it is helpful to further recognize and understand traditional culture,which has positive significance for arranging,inheriting and carrying forward Chinese excellent culture.
