Over the past century,the changes of ink painting have been closely related to the important ideological movements,social events and political situations under the social background.Just like the first transformation of ink painting from traditional freehand brushwork to realism in the context of the May 4th new cultural movement,the transformation of modern ink figure painting is also closely related to the specific social environment of reform and opening up in China at that time.With the victory of the third plenary session of the communist party of China,the liberation of the people's thought greatly,in under the spring breeze of reform and opening up,economic and scientific modernization has become the nation striving new goals,big discussion in the field of Chinese painting also is unable to avoid the transformation of "modernization" and "modernity".The period from 1979 to 2009 witnessed the rapid development of Chinese society and the development of Chinese contemporary art from scratch in a complex and diversified way.From reform in the field of politics,economy to the transformation of literature,art direction,in communication and integration between Chinese and western culture,popular culture,consumer culture and information era and the baptism of urbanization,our way of life and visual experience is a huge change accordingly,and eventually evolved into the present relationship between contemporary art in the life.Therefore,the reform and opening up after the ink figure painting opened a new situation,more and more ink painters on the ink"modernization" road,especially in the transformation of language and narrative for a large number of continuous exploration.This article research mainly focus on China's reform and opening up after the loose social background,the local ink and the context of the western modern art,the artist mainly through individual case studies combined with social reality,focus on language and narrative modern ink figure painting from two aspects to comb the modern transformation,from the characters in field(from hero "great man,to"ordinary people"),popular culture,the information age,consumer era,China's urbanization process Angle and public life in modern society,such as across the surface of the ink painting language to the change of ideology and culture field behind the "tao".Finally,it reflects on the transformation of modern ink figure painting,its influence and function on the reform of Chinese painting teaching system,and its boundary in the process of development.
