France occupies a vital position in the political,economic and cultural fields of Europe.It is an important cooperation country of China's "The Belt and Road" initiative and the core country of Chinese language diffusion in Europe.From the perspective of Chinese language diffusion internationally,Chinese language diffusion in France,whether in depth or in breadth,has been in the leading position in Europe in many historical periods.The study of diffusion mode of Chinese language in France is of great significance not only to Chinese language diffusion in European,but also to Chinese-French language contact and cultural exchanges and economic cooperation between China and France.This research takes the cointegrate of Chinese language diffusion in France as the research object,and carries on the overall,systematic and multi-dimensional carding,discussion and analysis of Chinese language diffusion in France.It also traces back the history of Chinese language diffusion in France from a macro perspective,systematically studies the development process of Chinese Education in France,analyses the role of social,political,economic and cultural factors in Chinese language diffusion from a multi-dimensional perspective,and investigates elite learners of Chinese language in France by in-depth interviews,and explores the intrinsic motivation of Chinese language diffusion in France.Finally,with reference to the multidimensional mode and development trend of Chinese language diffusion in France,this paper puts forward some suggestions on language strategies of Chinese language diffusion in Europe.Based on Cooper's framework of language diffusion theory and the introduction of "historical epistemology" and "knowledge archaeology" as the methodological basis,this study combs and analyses the basic elements supporting and influencing the spread of Chinese language diffusion in various historical periods of France and their relationships and roles.From the perspective of epistemological breakdown,the maturity of modern Chinese teaching theory and development of Chinese teaching in France are discussed.Based on motivation,attitude and identity theory,this paper analyses the motivation of Chinese acquisition in France,and uses situation analysis method to discuss the development and the problems and countermeasures of Chinese language diffusion.During the process of research,the methods of literature analysis and empirical analysis,macro-system analysis and micro-analysis,qualitative and quantitative researches are used.This study is divided into eight chapters.The first chapter is an introduction,which mainly summarizes the background,current situation,problems,purposes,significance,data sources and research methods of this study,in order to summarize the background,planning and objectives of the research.The second chapter is literature review,which clarifies the main concepts involved in this study,the main theories based on,and explains the application of the theory in the research.Chapters three to six analyze the history and current situation of the Chinese language diffusion in France,which divides Chinese language diffusion in France into four periods: the prelude period(Chapter three)from the 13 th to the 15 th century,the exploration period(Chapter four)from the 16 th to the 18 th century,the development period(Chapter five)from the 19 th to the mid-20 th century,and the disciplinary period(Chapter six)from the 1960 s to present.In Chapter three to five trace and analyze the dissemination history of Chinese language diffusion in France,the development status,historical background and characteristics of Chinese language culture,and research on Chinese language and Chinese teaching in France in different historical periods.The sixth chapter analyses the new period of the development of disciplinary Chinese language diffusion in France,expounds the new historical background and situation of the Chinese language diffusion in France in the new historical period,focusing on the analysis of the development and construction of the subject of Chinese language teaching in France.In the analysis of each historical period,based on Cooper's research framework of language communication,this paper establishes a framework model of Chinese language diffusion in France in different historical periods.Chapter seven is the correlation analysis of elite learners of Chinese language in France,which defines the concepts of Chinese language diffusion level and proficiency level of Chinese learner.On the basis of in-depth interviews with elite learners of Chinese language in France,the motivation,attitude and cross-cultural identity of elite learners are analyzed.By comparing with the results of other scholars surveys at other levels,this paper points out that cultural traction plays an important role in the Chinese language diffusion in France.The survey and analysis results at this level are also important reasons for the suggestions of strategies of Chinese language diffusion.Chapter eight is the analysis of Chinese language diffusion mode in France and its Enlightenment to the construction of Chinese language diffusion in Europe.The dissemination mode is analyzed from five dimensions: theory,policy,system,mechanism and media.In the SWOT matrix,through the analysis of its strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats,this paper explores the countermeasures and strategies that should be adopted in the future development of Chinese language diffusion in France.Finally,with France as a reference,this paper puts forward some suggestions and ideas on the multi-dimensional construction of Chinese language diffusion in Europe.It is found from this study that the Chinese language diffusion in France has distinct "period differences" in duration,and has its own characteristics and patterns compared with the spread of Chinese in other regions at the same period.Under the influence of world politics,economy and culture,Chinese language diffusion in France has experienced the development and transformation from the period of "imaginary Chinese language and China" to the period of missionaries and then to the period of discipline.Through the study of Darwinian development process,the following main conclusions are drawn: the development of epistemology plays an important role in the dissemination of Chinese language diffusion in France,and the conditions for the break-up of epistemology are pluralistic;the break-up of epistemology is an important condition and symbol for the establishment of Chinese language teaching discipline in France;the development of Chinese teaching discipline is one important aspect of the Chinese language diffusion in France in the new historical period,in particular,the Chinese language education in basic education has an crucial influence on Chinese language diffusion;the evaluation mechanism and system of internationalization are the important conditions for the development of Chinese language diffusion;cultural elements have a special status and important influence in Chinese language diffusion in France,and they have a special impact on the "political theory" in the history of Chinese language diffusion in France and the "economic theory" in the new period,which is an epistemological obstacle and stereotype;the further improvement of the multidimensional mode is the guarantee of the sustainable development of Chinese language diffusion in France;the construction of the corresponding multidimensional mode of Chinese language diffusion in different regions is an effective way of Chinese language diffusion internationally;the construction of the multidimensional mode should be planned and designed according to different levels of Chinese language diffusion.
