Research On Chinese Contemporary Policing Criminal Investigation Novels

Chinese contemporary public security criminal investigation novels belong to the category of public security literature,but they are different from the types of novels that simply describe police daily life,job encounters,and emotional stories.Based on the historical origins of this type of novel,this article completes its conceptual definition.At the same time,it clarifies the time and social differences among western "detective novels","inferential novels" in Japan and contemporary Chinese criminal investigation novels.It reveals that the police criminal investigation novel is a new type of novel that combines the aesthetic style of popular fiction and political thought under the new Chinese literature view.Emphasizes that since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949,the national character,mainstream consciousness,legal basis,social contradictions,and subject composition on which the name "detective novel" relied have ceased to exist.However,in the new national context,Chinese contemporary public security criminal investigation novels have different styles and characteristics from the detective novels in terms of theme construction,characterization,and thought expression.Based on a textual analysis of contemporary Chinese criminal investigation novels,this article systematically sorts out the development and changes of contemporary Chinese criminal investigation novels,With reference to Western detective novels,classic official case novels,and Japanese reasoning novels.It further analyzes and interprets the narrative characteristics,theme construction,and character image of contemporary Chinese police criminal investigation novels.Based on this,it objectively evaluates the problems of the model writing of novels.The overall structure of the thesis consists of seven parts: introduction,five chapters and conclusion.In the preface,I start with the concept definition of contemporary Chinese criminal investigation novels,analyzing the research value and research status of these novels,determining the research goals and research methods,which provides the basis and argumentation basis for the dissertation.The first chapter summarizes and summarizes the development and change process of contemporary Chinese criminal investigation novels of police,mainly according to different periods,the following explanations are made: the seventeen-year period is the beginning of China's contemporary police investigation novels,which formed a new literary paradigm;in the new period,this type of novel is in the stage of recovery and reconstruction,which has enriched and expanded the creative concept.After the 1990 s,new media and big data gave birth to the "multiple prosperity" of such novels By combing the development context of contemporary Chinese criminal investigation novels,it is found that they have more literary values and functions than ordinary popular literature: In the new produced in this issue,which provided a good basis for the development of this type of novel.In the new era,the type of case description of the criminal investigation novels in the recovery and reconstruction of the police broke through a single theme.Through the description of the "scar" and the deep "reflection",the focus was on the return of "people" and the entry of "law",thereby expanding the on the level of the development of the thought thickness and artistic depth of the work.With the initial prosperity of popular culture,the development and transformation of public security novels based on the basis of social reality,although to a certain extent,has satisfied the public's reading needs for this type of novel,and has contributed economic benefits to the development of such works and publication,but undoubtedly,this tendency of "popularization" has also promoted the pursuit of interests by authors and publishers,leading to the emergence of crude and blindly copying popular phenomena regardless of artistic value and artistic reality.The second chapter analyzes the unique structure of the detective / criminal investigation plot from the rational construction of the internal story core and the "causal interpretation of the plot" in Chinese police investigation fiction.While other realistic socialist novels are still advancing in the "cause-and-effect" single mode of "beginning-development-climax-end",criminal investigation novels have opened the double of "mystery" and "cause and effect" under the command of "rationality" Plot building.It also analyzes the mysterious creative characteristics of detective / criminal novel suspense because they are far away from our daily lives.The narrative tentacles of criminal investigation novels have penetrated into various open dimensions such as criminology,criminal investigation,psychology,and sociology,so they have created the aesthetic effect of distance human nature shown in the novel.The fifth chapter critically explores the problem of the patterned writing of contemporary police criminal investigation novels,and points out that the patterned writing is a continuation of traditional western exploration novels and classical chapter-back novels.It also shows the characteristics of fixedness in the plot,unity of narrative perspective,and distinctive characteristics of characters.From the perspective of the needs of the times,cultural strategies,and the public's aesthetic expectations,the in-depth analysis of the causes of patterned writing,and an objective analysis of the social background and consciousness roots of this phenomenon.At the same time,it deeply analyzes the predicament faced by the current writing,and then analyzes the way to achieve breakthrough by taking the successful novel as a case.
