A Research On Discourse Power Of Network Ideological And Political Education

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that “the Internet has become the main territory and forefront position of the public opinion struggle.” It has become the major media tool for Western countries to marketing their ideology.Whether we can withstand and win the war is directly related to our national ideology security and regime security.Therefore,the way of turning the "maximum variable " of the Internet into "maximum positive energy",seizing the commanding height of morality,theory and public opinion and the way of guiding the ideology of a pluralistic society,seeking consensus in diversification,setting up a direction in changes and firmly grasping the power of discourse in network ideological and political education is a major issue that needs to be solved.Based on the consciousness problems and adhering to the standing point of Marxism,this paper applies literature research method,theory,practice combination method and interdisciplinary research method to explain the basic concepts,main characteristics,constituent elements and formation process of the research on the discourse power of network ideological and political education and puts forward some targeted and operable countermeasures for the realistic situation of discourse power of network ideological and political education.This paper is divided into three parts with five chapters:For the first part(including the first and the second chapter),the main content is to understand the basic problem and consolidate the theoretical foundation and emphasizes on the question of what is the discourse power of the network ideological and political education.Firstly,on the basis of systematically combing the related concepts and from the perspective of "Discourse",it puts forward that the discourse power of network ideological education is the leading,influential,inspirational and communicative force of ideological and political education discourse in cyberspace.The essence of it is the power of thought leadership,value shaping and discourse dominance;The main characteristics are the authoritativeness of discourse thought,the popularity of discourse expression,the persistence of discourse influence and the universality of discourse communication;The constituent elements are the right to set network agendas,the right to guide network public opinions,the initiative in network struggle,and the right to govern the network space.Secondly,it systematically sorts out the related thoughts of classical Marxist writers and Chinese communists,focuses on Xi Jinping's strategic thinking of network power and summarizes Xi Jinping's views on network public opinion,network security,network interests and network governance;It also sorts out the theory of agenda setting in communication,the theory of communication process,the "gatekeeper" theory and the theory of opinion leaders.For the second part(including Capter3),the main content is to explore the generative motivation,analyze the formation mechanism and discuss "how to generate" the discourse power of the network ideological and political education from a dynamic and processual perspective,including the third chapter.Based on the theory of communication process(5W),this chapter summarizes its generative motivation,including the leading force of discourse subject,the persuasiveness of discourse content,the affinity of discourse form and the radiative force of discourse carrier.The generation phase includes four stages: the network encounter between two sides,game of ideology and ideas,the dominating of the discourse subject and the internalization of the discourse object;The formation mechanism includes the multiple coupling mechanism in generation,the leading identification mechanism in realization and the integration of symbiotic mechanism in results.For the third part(including Chapter4 and Chapter5),the main content is concentrated on the real situation and put forward some ideas and countermeasures.It focuses on the opportunities,challenges and dilemmas faced by the discourse power of the network ideological and political education,including the forth chapter and fifth chapter.First,from the international perspective,China has gradually stepped into the center of the world stage;From the historical perspective,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era;From the theoretical basis perspective,the discipline of ideological and political education is becoming more and more mature;From technical support perspective,the network has expanded the scope of the dissemination of ideological and political education.Nevertheless,the overall pattern of “The west is strong and China is still weak” has not changed,and the western discourse hegemony and diversified social trends of thoughts have squeezed discourse power of the network political education.In addition,there exist internal dilemmas in the discourse power of China's network ideological and political education,such as the discourse system and the construction of discourse subject and carrier,which need to be perfected and enhanced.Taken together,in this paper,it proposes the overall thinking,key strategies and specific measures for improving the discourse power of the network ideological education from the macro,average,and micro levels,with strong pertinence and operability.In general,this essay believes that in the new era,we should firmly grasp the discourse power of network ideological and political education which is based on " Jinping's strategic thoughts of building a powerful nation with the Internet",which takes "cultivating a positive network culture,and draw the largest concentric circles" as a general idea,takes “ establishing the discourse system with Chinese characteristics and strengthening discourse subject and carrier construction” as the key strategy,and takes “seizing the right of network agenda setting,guidance of network public opinion,initiative of network confrontation and the right to govern the network space ”as the specific measures which strengthened the construction of internet content,created a clear and bright cyberspace and chanted the main melody.
