| Sports are an indispensable part of city life,so the penetration and spreading of sports element is even more needed in beautiful city life.Sports are a lifestyle,or we may say they are a life status.Building city sports brands,winning glory for the motherland,serving the people well and conducting all kinds of activities can meet the people' s spiritual and cultural life needs,turn our cities into international sports cities,better serve the people ' s livelihood and win the glory for the motherland as well.This research is aimed at providing theory reference and practical basis for international sports cities building.This research adopts documents method,questionnaire method,experts interviews,field study,mathematical statistics and logical analysis etc.Its methodology is based on philosophy and administration.It is aimed at building international sports cities and exploring the formation and development of sports cities from an international perspective.It also aims to explore the conditions of forming international sports cities,construct the evaluation index system of the international sports cities and provide some strategies for China to build international sports cities in terms of the following six aspects like economic conditions,sports population,sports events,sports culture,international sports organizations and sports system etc.The findings of this research show:1.Exploratory put forward an international sports city evaluation index system of the six first-class indexes,the evaluation index system of international sports cities also includes another 13 second-class indexes and 52 third-class ones;six first-class indexes:economic conditions,sports population,sports events,international sports organizations,sports culture and sports system for the first time.The construction of economy,culture,system and sports organizations is the basic guarantee for the building of international sports cities.The frequent sports events at home and abroad and the increasing sports population are the core content of international sports cities.Along with the six first-class indexes,the evaluation index system of international sports cities also includes another 13 second-class indexes and 52 third-class ones.2.At present,we have already had two international sports cities,Beijing and Shanghai.Soon afterwards,a series of internationalized cities like Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Nanjing and Hong Kong etc will be in the positive preparation process of building international sports cites.They have made some difference in this regard.3.International sports cities are the inevitable product of the urbanization at its advanced stage.With the advent of information and acknowledge economy,they will achieve greater development because they suit people' s healthy lifestyle.In industrial economy era,the development of international cities needs to obtain substantial material resources.The advantage of obtaining material resources is just the advantage of city development.However,in information and acknowledge economy era,the development of international cities will mainly rely on a large number of creative talents.The places that suit people to live a healthy life are good for the creation of the talents.Because if the place is good for living,it is also good for people to have their careers.Therefore,building international sports cities becomes the best choice for a lot of international cities.4.The constructions of sports facilities and nationwide fitness paths are the material basis for the building of international sports cities.The fast growth of national economy is the guarantee of it and the expansion of sports population is the basis.Sports industry is a creative industry.It helps the economic growth of a city a lot and brings a new city marketing concept to the administrators.Sports are the live carrier of city marketing and country marketing as well.5.The way to build international sports cities in China is to include the construction of sports facilities in the long-term scheme of the building international cities.By promoting the development of traditional sports industry,we can break through the traditional economic growth point,build city brand sports teams,undertake international brand sports events and broaden our international influence and competitive edge.We also need to coordinate mass sports,school sports and competitive sports,increasingly expand sports population and lay a solid foundation for the building of international sports cities.In order to have a say in international events and safeguard the good sports atmosphere,make our sports culture thrive and build international sports cities with Chinese characteristics,we need to develop international sports organizations and perfect our sports system. |
