Study On The Building Of Socialist Sports Power With Chinese Characteristics In The New Era

In the context of a new era,President Xi proposed to put the development of China's sports industry into the layout of the “two hundred years” struggle,which demonstrates that the development of sports has risen to the height of the national strategy,uniting the great practice of sports power with the great practice of building a well-to-do society in an all-round way,and unifying the practice of the Chinese dream of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In terms of content,the construction of sports powers is aimed at people's all-round development and the improvement of the country's overall strength.In terms of practice,it requires sports powers to cover all aspects of human social development,such as sports infrastructure,sports culture,sports system mechanisms,sports science and technology.The sports spirit and so on must be incorporated into the development of sports.At present,from the perspectives of both value and function orientations,China still fails at reaching the goal of building itself as a strong country which fundamentally makes sports development an activity for all.It is necessary to further study the scientific connotation and development status of the socialist sports power with Chinese characteristics,so as to find a realistic path for building a socialist sports power with Chinese characteristics in a new era.This paper explores four issues:First,we will sort out the theoretical foundations involved in the socialist sports power with Chinese characteristics.The sports power country with Chinese characteristics must first adhere to the guidance of Marxism and further tap into the profound significance of Marxist scientific theory for the sports-powerful country with Chinese characteristics.In particular,Marx's prediction of "all-round development of man" and the scientific connotation of the development of "human society" have become the basis for building a "sports power" in the new era.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the Communist Party of China has continued to practice Marxist theory in the development of sports and has promoted the development of sports in China in response to the sports development strategy under different backgrounds.The Mao Zedong-led leadership group put forward the strategic idea of "developing sports and enhancing people's physique" for the first time.With Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin,and Hu Jintao as the leading collectives,they continued to advance the development of sports with Chinese characteristics,from building a sports nation to building a sports power.Under the leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping,a new era of "sports power country dreams" and the integration of the sports power with both the strategy of building a well-off society in an all-round way and the governance of the country have embarked.Second,the paper mainly focuses on the ideology of socialist sports with Chinese characteristics in the new era.As part of the realization of the Chinese nation's great rejuvenation dream,"Sports power Country dreams" has specific connotations in its value orientation and functional orientation."Sports Power" is not a newly-proposed concept.It was proposed as early as the 1980 s.In the context of the new era,it is precisely the connotation,nature,characteristics,and positioning of the “sports power country” that have undergone fundamental changes.The socialist sports power with Chinese characteristics in the new era is an overall and comprehensive concept.It is not just the improvement of athletes' athletic skills,but the emphasis on human development as the goal,the culture as the carrier,the insistence on scientific development,and the realization of coordinated development of mass sports,competitive sports and sports industry.In addition,we must strengthen the construction of Chinese sportsmanship and consolidate the socialist sports culture with Chinese characteristics into a stable,value-oriented sportsmanship.Third,thepaper analyzes the current situation of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.First,it is necessary to clarify the indicator evaluation system for “sports power country” and find gaps and problems from comparative analysis.The paper analyzes the development status of competitive sports,mass sports,and sports industry,trying to find out the plight of the development of socialist sports with Chinese characteristics,so as to find the right path for building a strong sports country in the new era.In the comparative evaluation,it was found that the sports discourse system with Chinese characteristics,the sports industry with Chinese characteristics,and the Chinese sports spirit have not been not fully developed;sports have yet to truly become part of people's life;competitive sports are still the main content of sports development;the unbalanced development of mass sports still exists;the sports industry has not yet formed scale benefits,and the subjectivity of sports with Chinese characteristics has not yet been established.On the other hand,the lack of socialist spiritual culture with Chinese characteristics,coupled with the problems left over by history have caused the failure of becoming a sports power in the real sense,we must build new patterns in key areas such as national fitness,youth sports development projects,and sports diplomacy to complement the shortcomings of different sectors,improve the political position and spiritual realm of sports workers,and fundamentally establish the scientific content of sports power in the new era.Fourth,the paper studies and explores the path of building a strong socialist sports power country with Chinese characteristics.The idea is still to embed "sports power country" into the big structure of the new era,to grasp "sports power country" as an overall concept,from the individual,national,and social levels,and to plan a new pattern of construction of sports power from the aspects of politics,economics,cultural and social life.In the specific implementation,with the goal of common development of society and people,focusing on the problems of unbalanced development of competitive sports and mass sports and unbalanced development of urban and rural areas,efforts will be made to solve the problem of unbalanced scale,structure,and benefits of competitive sports,and confront the national fitness difficulties which are encountered in the overall promotion of the national strategy.It will also promote the improvement of the quality of the sports industry and seek new opportunities for sports power from the economic development and promote the development of science and technology and the construction of law to help the construction of sports powers.The most important thing is that at the spiritual and cultural level,it is necessary to develop national sports culture and give full play to the motivational role of the Chinese sports spirit in the development of sports.In short,the construction of a “sports power country” in the new era has placed greater emphasis on the solution to the fundamental problems of human survival and development,emphasizing the cultural connotation and value orientation of “sports power country”.In the path of building a sports power country,we should also adhere to the scientific
