Professional identity evolved from Erikson's concept of identity.Based on the theory of social identity,it focuses on the “self-identity” of individuals and occupations.It is an affirmative evaluation to the work of the practitioners.The teachers' professional identity as an expression of professional identity in the education industry means that teachers accept and recognize their work really,and can make positive perceptions of all aspects of the work.Although school football teachers can not be recognized as a new occupation,there are teachers in the school full-time or part-time responsible for football work.This study investigates the evaluation and attitude of this part of teachers to their own campus football work.Domestic and foreign researchers have carried out some research on professional identity of teachers,but there are not many studies on specific subjects,especially on physical education teachers.Although there have been many studies to explore the impact of a certain factor on the professional identity of teachers,it's lack of discussion on the external and internal factors on the teacher's professional identity.Based on the comprehensive analysis of domestic and foreign research,this study applies the combination of qualitative research and quantitative research to the problems of research,and the structure,characteristics of professional identity of school football teachers and its influence factors.Specifically,through theoretical combing,interviews,questionnaire surveys,mathematical statistics and other methods,we have developed school football teachers' professional identity scales and school football teachers' national training effectiveness scales,and used school football teachers' professional identity scales to investigate teachers in China and analyzed the characteristics in demographic variables;using social support scales,teaching efficacy scales,school football teacher's professional identity scales to explore the relationship between social support,teaching efficacy and the professional identity of school football teachers;use national training effectiveness scales,social support scale,teaching efficacy scale,school football teacher professional identity scale to explore the role of the national training effect in moderating the relationship between social support,teaching efficacy,and professional identity.This study include four parts,which are the development of relevant research scales,the characteristics of school football teachers' professional identity,the mediating role of teaching efficacy in social support and school football teachers' professional identity,and the effect of national training effect on the mediating effect model.Based on the results of this study,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The “school football teachers' profession identity scale” developed in this study contains five factors: emotional identity,ability identity,goal identity,belief identity,and continuous identity;“school football teacher national training effect scale” contains three factors: cognition,teaching practice and football law.These two scales have performed well in the measurement of Chinese school football teachers,and have high validity and reliability.They can be used as a measurement tool for school football teachers' research.(2)At present,the overall level of professional identity of school football teachers in our country is high,but the levels of each dimension are not balanced.From big to small,they are belief identity,goal identity,emotional identity,ability identity,and continuous identity.(3)The level of professional identity of school football teachers in China is different according to demographic variables.The professional identity of male teachers is significantly higher than that of female teachers;the professional identity of teaching aged 1-5 years is significantly lower than that of other groups;the professional identity of rural teachers is significantly lower than that of township and urban schools.There are no significant differences in professional identity among variables such as age,education,region,teaching level,and location of the school.(4)There is a partial mediating role of teaching efficacy in social support and school football teachers' professional identity.That is to say,social support not only direct influence on the professional identity of the school football teacher,but also indirect influence on the professional identity of the school football teacher through the sense of teaching efficacy.The sense of teaching efficacy is a mediator of social support affecting professional identity.(5)The national training effect plays a moderating role in the latter path of “social support-teaching efficacy-professional identity”.When the national training effect is high,the teaching efficacy plays a mediating role between social support and professional identity.When the effect of national training is low,teaching efficacy does not have a mediating role between social support and professional identity.
