A Study On The Living Inheritance Of "Yuejiaquan" In Jinhua

The living inheritance of the intangible cultural heritage is not to inherit the air-dried heritage or to chase the lost dreams,but to make it rely on the environment of people's daily life and continue to keep alive.Unlike the "museum"-style collection-style protection,living inheritance is to make people as the center and pays more attention to the sustainable development of intangible cultural heritage.Because of its unique style and perfect technical system,Jinhua Yuejia Boxing has become one of excellent boxing in Jinhua,and also one of the representatives of intangible cultural heritage of Zhejiang Province.In the long-term development of local folk,Jinhua Yuejia Boxing has accumulated a strong folk foundation,owned of a deep historical accumulation and kept its inherent tradition up to now.In 2009,Jinhua Yuejia Boxing was included into Zhejiang Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection List.This paper takes the living inheritance of "Yuejiaquan" in Jinhua as the research object,and selects Fu Village where the Yuejiaquan is inherited better than any other place,as the field investigation point.During the investigation,we deeply understood the survival and development status of the art culture through participatory observation and in-depth interviews.This paper reflected on the current problems and explored the direction of its future development which will provide a theoretical basis for the living inheritance of Jinhua Yuejia Boxing.In this paper,it first explains the natural environment,social environment andhuman environment of Jinhua Yuejia Boxing,and then cards the origin of Jinhua Yuejia Boxing and the reasons for its formation.This paper focuses on investigating the inheritance pedigree of Jinhua Yuejia Boxing.It found that the key to the survival of Jinhua Yuejia Boxing is the inheritors.The inheritors play a leading role in the inheritance and development of Jinhua Yuejia Boxing.Jinhua Yuejia Boxing`s content is a new boxing style which is created on the basis of the core skills passed by the master.The inherited content is constantly enriched.It includes the cultivation of martial arts ethics,practice techniques of hand?foot and leg,skills,etc.The characteristics include the mixture of truth and falsehood,the meat is not sticky to the meat,big frame for small use,long into and short retreat,up and down into the gap,to soften the rigid,modest is the most expensive and let nature take its course.It is inherited through family biography,teacher biography,geographical inheritance,organize events and exhibitions.The inheritance field expanded from the past private space to the public field,from being a weapon for protecting the family and fighting against the battle to the value of moral education and reconstruction of the local culture,which reflects the changes of social needs.Jinhua Yuejia Boxing suffered from the influence of foreign culture and urbanization development.The lack of inheritors,fragmented teaching,the elimination of traditional inheritance methods,lack of cultural self-confidence and cultural consciousness are the main problems of Jinhua Yuejia Boxing`s living inheritance.To this end,it is recommended that Jinhua Yuejia Boxing apply for the national intangible cultural heritage to protect itself,optimize its comprehensive inheritance method,rely on the inheritor to achieve professional development and reconstruct systematic inheritance as well as make adaptive innovation of its internal use.
