Suicide is one of the leading causes of human abnormal death,whose serious consequences have become an important issue of the world.As builders and successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics,college students who end their own lives not only bring heavy blows to their families and classmates,but also affect the stable development of schools and society,besides,cause great losses to the country and society.The government issued that colleges and universities must maintain Marxism as a guiding line,cultivate and promote the socialist core values,intensify theoretical education and value leadership of the ideological and political work,strengthen humanistic care and psychological counseling,develop a rational and peaceful health mentality,enable the college students to have both ability and political integrity and develop overall.Therefore,it is an important topic to be solved that how to screen high-risk suicide groups of college students scientifically and accurately,carry out timely and effective intervention,reduce the incidence of suicide,and promote the overall healthy development of college students.The constrction of the theoretical model is the foundation and grarantee for effective suicide risk assessment and intervention of college students' suicide.On the basis of summarizing the existinig conclusions of suicide,this study individed affective factors into deep core factors,deep non-core factors,surface important factors and surface secondary factors.The undergraduats' hierarchical model of suicide influencing factors showed that emotional factors such as psychache,despair and impulsivity,aggression,neurotic personality were important risk factors affecting college students' suicide.This study constructed the undergraduate suicide risk model from the perspectives of risk factors and protective factors of suicide.Risk factor of the suicide model was the important basis to assess suicide risk of college students.Through the inductive integration of many influential factors of college students,psychache,despair,self-attack,behavior impulsivity and neuroticism were analyzed as important dimensions for assessing suicide high-risk groups.The Internal Consistency Reliability of the questionnaire of high-risk group of college students was 0.985,which means that the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were both precise enough to meet the demands of the psychometric indexes.The questionnaire survey was used to investigate a cluster stratified sample of 2029 undergraduates,we can draw the following conclusion: 12.7% reported suicide ideation,6.7% reported suicide attempt,13% became suicide risk groups,and including 5.1% high suicidal risk and 7.9% moderate suicidal risk.The protective factors in suicide risk model of college students were a good perspective of suicide intervention.Life values and social support were important protective factors for suicide risk of college students,and the guidance of value and the maintence of mental health should be the main ways for college suicide intervention.College students? meaning of life was relatively low,urban students and one-child college students had higher meaning of life than rural college students and non-only child college students.Colleges and universities urgently need to carry out the work of leading the life values.The degree of college students' perceived social support was at a medium level,and female and urban college students' perceived social support was significantly higher than male college students and rural college students.The rate of college students? psychological problems was 7.8%,which indicated that the mental health education had been effective in universities,while the psychological education still needs to be further strengthened.Psychological symptoms could significantly predict college students' risk such as meaning of life,realize social support,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,anxiety and paranoid.Man is the synthesis product of physiology,psychological and society.College students' suicide is not only a mental health problem,but also a problem of beliefs and values.At present,the suicide prevention work of college students was still focused on mental health education,while the specific role of ideological and political education in suicide prevention work was ignored.Ideological and political education focuse on the ideological health and pay attention to moral cultivation,while mental health education focuse on the mental health and pay attention to psychological education.Ideological health is the premise of mental health,and mental health is the guarantee of mental health.Both ideological and political education and mental health education should be the important ways of college students? suicide prevention work,just like both wings of the aircraft.The dual intervention mode can play a greater role.This study conducted empirical research on suicide interventions among college students through two specific ways: ideological and political education of life values and group psychological counseling on social support.The results show that the ideological and political education curriculum of life values can improve the meaning of life of college students,play a leading role in shaping the values,and effectively reduce the risk of suicide among college students.Group counseling activities of perceived social support can enhance college students' perceived social support ability effectively,play a microscopic role in interpersonal problems of college students,reduce the risk of suicide among college students,enhance the sense of life meaning of college students at the same time,and have a beneficial effect on the sense of life of college students.The double intervention model of college students? suicide with the integration of ideological and political education and mental health education has the best effect and should become an important work model of college students? suicide prevention and intervention.
