As the father of American modern community organizing,Saul Alinsky has left many valuable legacies for the development of American urbanized communities. The most important one is a unique community organizing concept and action mode initiated by him. This model was later called Alinskyism. This paper combines the main developments of American urban society in the 20 th century, and analyzes and analyzes the rise, growth and transformation of Alinskyism, trying to systematically and comprehensively expound Alinsky's academic value and his organizational creation. The importance of justice in American cities. To study Alinskyism,we must first be inseparable from the overall grasp of the connotation of a model. Therefore,in the first chapter, this article will openly explain the four core components of Alinskyism, namely, community tradition, organizer and organizing, action strategies that target power, and de-ideology.These concepts are not only the cornerstone of community organizing, but also the uniqueness of community organizing and any other neighborhood organization. The formation of Alinskyism does not appear out of thin air. Therefore,in the second chapter, this paper explores and discusses the three external influence factors of the formation of Alinskyism, that is,the social problems existing in the industrial zone of Chicago in the early 20 th century. The limitations of social work-based neighborhood organizations and the limited nature of resorting to the labor movement for social reforms have greatly shaped Alinsky's perspectives and methods of observing inter-group relationships within communities and the relationship between communities and external political economies. The formation of Alinskyism into the background of the times also helps us to understand and understand this neighborhood organization model more clearly and deeply. In the third chapter, this paper discusses and analyzes the classic practice of Alinsky from the late 1930 s to the early 1970 s for 30 years.Through these practices,it not only proves that community organizing can effectively help American urbanized communities. In particular,it helps the resurgence and unity of the disordered communities, and it also provides a way to pursue urban justice from the bottom up.However, traditional Alinskyism faced many internal dilemmas both before and after Alinsky's life. These internal dilemmas,in turn, forced the community organizing to transform into vitality. Therefore,in the fourth chapter, this paper focuses on the transformation of traditional Alinskyism to the new Alinskyism, including the era motives of the transmutation and the final achievements. In this process, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now became the most important representative of the new Alinskyism, and it also represents the most complex and exquisite organizing model based on urban neighborhoods in the United States, truly helping vulnerable groups nationwide.Participate in the process of fighting urban injustice. In the last chapter, this paper attempts to incorporate Alinskyism into the category of urban rights theory and explore the possibility of two theories breaking through their respective limitations.By discussing the intrinsic relationship between the two, this paper proposes a hypothesis that community organizing may become a way to realize urban rights. It should be noted to this day that Alinskyism is not a purely research object of urban sociology, but a high degree of disciplinary penetration. The human light in this concept has not only tended to change in American urban changes, but also often flash in the process of American urban people mastering individuals and participating in collective urban life.In summary,Alinskyism has its unique advantages as well as its inevitable shortcomings. Some of these advantages have played an extraordinary role in the practice of community organizing for more than half a century.Part of it is inevitable that the pace of the development of Alinskyism will be hampered.Even so,Alinskyism has always been surging in the long history of American city justice and will continue to influence the future she is going to.
