Research On Contemporary Parenting Anxiety In China From The Perspective Of New Media

With the change of family structure and child-rearing concept in social transition period,family child-rearing is facing the very common phenomenon of "Parenting anxiety"."Parenting anxiety",as a social problem,not only affects the family environment where children live and grow,but also leads to the general reduction of childbearing willingness of young people of childbearing age.Based on the communication perspective of new media and the current situation of parenting in Chinese families,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis and discussion on the communication characteristics and presentation types of "parenting anxiety" in Chinese new media.At the same time,this paper discusses the influence of the new media environment on parenting anxiety from the perspective of communication theory,in order to give a new explanation of the characteristics and causes of parenting anxiety under the new media environment,and to help solve and eliminate the phenomenon of "parenting anxiety".As the age composition of Internet users in China gradually shifts to young and middle-aged people.The post-80 s and post-90 s,as the main groups of Internet users,gradually enter into marriage and have children.New media has become the main source of parental information.New media environment is profoundly affecting the parenting behavior of modern young parents.With the rapid development of media technology and communication technology,China's child-rearing new media are gradually moving towards mobilization and industrialization,forming an information service industry ecology featuring content symbiosis and all-media integration,and establishing a closed loop of family parenting services with characteristics from online to offline.In this paper,four types of parenting anxiety including "education anxiety","health anxiety","safety anxiety" and "self-development anxiety" were selected as the samples.From the perspective of the content of parenting anxiety,parenting anxiety is mainly reflected in three aspects: the opposition between traditional parenting concept and modern scientific parenting concept,the problem of low age of children's education,and the fragmentation of knowledge information.In addition,parenting anxiety in parenting websites,"education anxiety" and "safety anxiety" theme prominent.The contents mainly include the competition of educational resources,the balance of family and career and the lack of "trust".This paper analyzes the interaction between new media and the social psychology of parenting anxiety from the two aspects of new media's report on "children's infringement" and the new media industry ecology.According to the statistics of the trend and theme distribution of "children's infringement" events in recent years,the number of "children's infringement" events reports has been rising in recent years,which reflects the state,the government and even the society's attention to the safety of children.However,the cognitive bias caused by negative news and the crisis of public opinion have aggravated the "parenting anxiety" of parents to some extent.In the process of pursuing interests,new media industry promotes "information consumption" and "traffic transformation" by publicizing competitive culture and social risks,thus affecting parents' "sense of security" and "certainty" in the process of parenting.Finally,this paper points out the concept dislocation and dilemma in the process of family child-rearing,and puts forward the child-rearing guarantee scheme through the interaction of society,government,media and family.Firstly,society should provide a civilized and inclusive cultural environment for family child-rearing.The state and government should introduce systematic child security policies as soon as possible to comprehensively serve family child-rearing activities.Secondly,the media should shoulder more social responsibilities and put the public interest first when it comes to children.Finally,parents should improve their media literacy.In the modern society of media survival,they should have good ability to obtain and judge information.Only by always taking the love between parents and children as the premise in the process of parenting,can they never forget their original intention and effectively solve the current situation of parenting anxiety.
