“British is a typical example among the nations of the world.It embodies a unique way of development – the development of UK.This approach is characterized by gentleness,stability and gradual progress,even those who do not know much about world affairs.There will also be a vague impression that the United Kingdom is a stable nation.It focuses on reality and is not conceited by fantasy.It is longer than tolerance and does not like to go to extremes."(Qian and Chen,2004)In the British national character,there are distinct characteristics,conservatism contains the pioneering,enterprising,dare to be the domineering of the world;the development of the backbone is gradual,there are Follow the trend of stability.This unique national character determines the development of British history and also affects the characteristics of the UK's outstanding teacher policy.Therefore,in the tradition and change,the British excellent teacher policy follows the continuity of the country's history and the possibility of the real world after the Second World War,along the path of development,gradual and steady development,while at the same time as the teachers of excellence.Teachers' professional standards,"school-based training","career planning" and "excellent education are everywhere" continue to lead the world.Especially in recent years,the outstanding teachers in the UK have gone from value appeal to extensive practice.The meaning and connotation of outstanding teachers have been continuously enriched and deepened,and become the vane of leading the world's outstanding teachers.Therefore,based on the attention of outstanding teachers,this paper deeply pursues the evolution of the UK's excellent teacher policy with a comparative perspective.Starting from the analysis of policy texts,this paper explores the background,development process,main content,implementation effects and existing problems of the excellent teacher policy,and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the UK's excellent teacher policy.It considers the social and historical foundations and realistic developments of the UK's excellent teacher policy,and pays more attention to the political,economic,cultural and social development background of the policy.On the basis of rethinking the characteristics of Chinese traditional culture and the adaptation of China's educational reality,it is hoped to obtain useful lessons for China's excellent teacher policy,and practice the view of G.Z.F.Bereday: "Getting self-awareness from knowing others is the most valuable education that can be provided."
