Since the new curriculum reform,the mathematics modeling has been adopted to the junior middle school mathematics textbook and the mathematics curriculum standard.The mathematics modeling ability has become the key ability which required the junior school students to possess.The cultivation of mathematics modeling ability has been the important goal of mathematics education and the direction of mathematics curriculum reform.However,the investigation showed that there are a few problems need to be modified in the mathematics modeling ability teaching for junior middle school students."What to teach","how to teach" and "how to foster junior middle school students' mathematics modeling ability" are still puzzling the front-line teachers.The reason lies in the lack of effective theoretical guidance and teaching strategies for reference.Mathematical modeling learning for junior middle school students also lacks effective learning methods.Therefore,it is an urgent task to establish a kind of mathematical modeling ability training theory with certain generality and command-The theory would put forward specific and feasible training strategies for junior middle school students' mathematical modeling ability,as well as help and guide front-line teachers to effectively carry out mathematical modeling teaching.Considering that this study takes the cultivation of mathematical modeli'ng ability of junior middle school students as the starting point.It aims to exploring the limitations of the teaching content of mathematical modeling in junior middle school by comprehensive and systematical analysis.First of all,through the detailed classroom observation and in-depth interviews with teachers,the process of mathematical modeling of junior middle school students is comprehensively investigated,and the methods and rules of mathematical modeling are summarized,so as to obtain the general process and the ability structure of mathematical modeling of junior middle school students.Then on the basis of investigation and research,through the detailed analysis and clarifying of the current situation of junior middle school students'mathematical modeling ability training,the dissertation analyzes and judges the difficulties of junior middle school students' mathematical modeling ability training,and understand the obstacles of junior middle school students' mathematical modeling learning.Finally,in order to effectively explore the training strategies of mathematical modeling ability,this study has modified the training strategy and provided systematic support from the perspective of junior school students' mathematical modeling ability.This dissertation puts forward selected strategy of teaching content,the teaching and learning strategy of fostering junior school students,mathematical modeling ability.It can be seen that the dissertation answers the questions of "what to teach","how to teach"and "how to learn" by exploring the law of the cultivation of junior middle school students,mathematical modeling ability.At the same time,it constructs the teaching theory prototype of the their mathematical modeling ability's development,which can effectively improve the teaching and fostering students' mathematical modeling ability.It also provides a new optional teachi'ng mode,which not only has a strong theoretical depth,but also has a high practical value.This dissertation is composed of six parts.The first part is the introduction,which briefly introduces the origin and significance,key concepts,research approach and research methods,and reviews the present literature.The second part clarifies the background,development process and theoretical foundation of mathematical modeling education,so as to lay the foundation for the development of the junior middle school students' mathematical modeling ability.The third part focuses on the text analysis of junior middle school mathematics modeling teaching content.It discusses the consistency of teaching materials and curriculum standards of junior middle school mathematics,and preliminarily analyzes the shortcomings of mathematics modeling content in the teaching materials.In the fourth part,through classroom observation and in-depth interviews with teachers,the process and structure of mathematical modeling ability of junior middle school students are investigated in detail,and the current situation of mathematical modeling ability training is analyzed.The fifth part analyzes the limitations of the teaching content of mathematical modeling in junior middle school,the difficulties of mathematical modeling training and the obstacles of mathematical modeling learning in junior middle school.It aims to lay the foundation for exploring the teaching strategies of mathematical modeling ability training in junior middle school.The sixth part mainly discusses how to foster junior middle school students' ability of mathematical modeling,and puts forward the strategies of their ability of mathematical modeling from three aspects:the selection of teaching content,the teaching and the learning of mathematical modeling of junior middle school students.
