Starting from a realistic individual and realizing the all-round development of man is the logical starting point and value purpose of historical materialism.In the new era,with the continuous expansion of the number of college students in China,more diverse student sources,and increasingly diversified student needs,college students' ideological and political education is facing more and more complex educational objects,and there is an increasing need to scientifically understand and reasonably meet the development needs of college students And value expectation,enhance the endogenous motivation of college students to participate in ideological and political education.Under the background that the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core attaches great importance to college students' ideological and political education,grasp the law of the formation of college students' ideological and political education value expectations,investigate and examine the development status,existing problems,influencing factors and optimization strategies of college students' ideological and political education value expectations To continuously meet and enhance the value expectations of ideological and political education for college students,fundamentally enhance the ideological consciousness,political consciousness and action consciousness of college students to participate in ideological and political education activities,which has become an important topic in the current field of ideological and political education of college students.Focusing on the theme of "value expectation of college students' ideological and political education in the new era" taking Marxist theory as a guide,with reference to the theory of expectancy value theory in the field of psychology and the students development theory in the field of pedagogy,this dissertation proposes a comprehensive and systematic answer to issues of “what is value expectation,what is the current status of value expectation,and how to satisfy and optimize value expectation".Moreover,a theoretical model of college students' value expectation from the perspective of ideological and political education is established,through questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews,the current situation,problems and causes of the value expectations of ideological and political education of college students in the new era are analyzed.This dissertation is divided into four parts.The main contents are summarized as follows:The first part,or the the first chapter of this dissertation is the establishment of the topic selection,which expounds the fundamental issue of topic selection--"research on the value expectation of ideological and political education of college students in the new era".Including the research background,research purpose,research significance,research status,and then put forward the research ideas,methods and possible innovations.By retrieving the research status of this topic,the dissertation finds out that research priorities include studies on the value of college students' ideological and political education,studies on the studies on college students' ideological and political education expectations,and expectations of college students' ideological and political education value.By employing scientific measurement software Cite Space,In the fields of pedagogy and psychology,the research on the motivation of students to participate in educational activities is relatively mature,forming a school of theory represented by the expected value theory.However,the related research on ideological and political education of college students is still very lacking,and the existing achievements are mostly theoretical speculation,and the in-depth comprehensive research achievements of systematic science are rare.This paper argues that the new era of ideological and political education worth looking forward to the significance of the study has two aspects: first,define the value expected,the ideological and political education value,the ideological and political education worth looking forward to the concept,characteristics,function,analysis the ideological and political education value to research the significance of sort out looking forward to the generating mechanism of ideological and political education value,enrich the research contents of ideological and political education and college students' growth.Secondly,based on the theory of expected value theory of the dimension and the investigation on the scale,the revised questionnaires which accords with the situation of China,empirical research in a new era of ideological and political education worth looking forward to the development of the present situation,influence factors and satisfy the optimization countermeasures,help for the college students' ideological and political educators to carry out specific references for academic research and practical work.The second part is the theoretical foundation,including chapter 2,chapter 3 and chapter 4,which construct the theoretical framework of this dissertation mainly addressing the issue of "what is value expectation".First,the connotation of the value expectation of college students' ideological and political education is defined.This research concludes that the value expectation of college students 'ideological and political education could be defined as: "undergraduates' ideological and political education can improve their ideological and political literacy,moral integrity,and humanistic literacy,etc.,so that their ideological concepts,political views,and moral standards could be in line with social and national prospective evaluation,and thus reflecting the affirmative conception of the future significance of the value relationship between their own development and ideological and political education." Secondly,it analyzes the theoretical basis of the value expectation of college students' ideological and political education.Marxist theory of human needs,social existence determines the principle of dialectical relationship of social consciousness is the guiding theory of this study;The value evaluation theory of college students' ideological and political education and expected value theory of ideological and political education of college students provide epistemology basis for this research;and he development theory of college students provides important theoretical references for this research in terms of influencing factors analysis and optimization countermeasures exploration.Third,the generation logic of the value expectation of college students' ideological and political education is identified.The value expectation of college students' ideological and political education is divided into two parts: value belief and expectation belief.Among them,value beliefs are evolved from value cognition,value emotion,and value will,and it include four dimensions--intrinsic value,achievement value,utility value,and cost.And the expectation belief includes education content expectation,education method expectation,education environment expectation,and teacher team expectation.The third part is empirical research,presented in the chapter 5,with major focus on addressing "What is the current status of value expectations".First,a survey scale is developed.According to the expected value theory and the individual value theory of ideological and political education of college students,the scale is formulated into two parts: value belief(4 dimensions,41 questions)and expected belief(4 dimensions,18 questions).The questionnaire were distributed among 2109 college students from 13 universities in Hubei Province,and analyzed results are analyzed by using SPSS 24.0 and Mplus 7 softwares.Exploratory factor analysis retains 48 questions and 6 factors.The result of confirmatory factor analysis is good,the overall reliability coefficient of the scale is 0.945,and the reliability coefficient of the subscale is good.Thus the revised questionnaire can be used as a research tool.Second,the survey results are analyzed.Since the reform and opening up,especially since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,under the background of the Party Central Committee's strengthening of ideological and political education for college students,the overall level of college students' value expectations has been relatively high,which could be reflected as follows:the individual average scores of achievement value,intrinsic value,realistic value,education input expectation,and education means expectation are 4.46,4.13,4.05,4.27,and 4.15 respectively,significantly higher than median 3,and the individual average score of cost(2.73)is is lower than median 3.Thus there are differences in the value expectation performance among students of different genders,different grades,different majors,different political status,different types of schooling,and with different academic experience.It is concluded after further verification through in-depth interviews further that in the new era,college students attach sufficient importance to ideological and political education,show great interest in participation,low cost consciousness,and nurture strong expectation for the "three closeness" of ideological and political education.The fourth part discusses the existing problems and optimization countermeasures,presented in Chapters 6 and 7,mainly addressing the issue of "how to optimize value expectations".Empirical studies have found that due to external factors such as the negative impact of social transformation,the impact of unhealthy social thoughts,misleading public opinion in online media,and the insufficient supply of ideological and political education for college students,as well as the influence of individual characteristics of college students,the misplacement of values,the limitations of development stages Internal reasons,the value expectation of ideological and political education of college students in the new era is ambiguous in value perception,value imbalance,high cost awareness,difficulty in learning,focus on short-term goals,lack of long-term planning and other issues.Based on the practical demands of the quality of talent cultivation in the new era,we discuss the optimization strategies for the value expectations of ideological and political education of college students in the new era,including: attaching importance to meeting the development needs and expectations of college students in terms of educational concepts,and using survey questionnaires,in-depth interviews,and discussions to investigate Assess the development status,problems and causes of the value expectation of ideological and political education of college students;constantly optimize the supply of ideological and political education of college students,stimulate students' interest in participating in ideological and political education activities,enhance the recognition of the value of ideological and political education students and reduce their participation in ideological and political education activities Cost consciousness,strengthen the construction of ideological and political education teams,expand ideological and political education practice methods and methods,and improve the guarantee mechanism to meet the value expectations of college students;correctly handle the requirements of students' value expectations " and social development," Ideological and Political Courses and "Ideological and Political Theories teaching in All Course",solving ideological problems and solving practical problems has effectively strengthened the internal motivation of college students to participate in ideological and political education activities,and has consciously grown into a newcomer in the era of national rejuvenation.
