Academic assessment is the important link for the quality control of undergraduate teaching,it runs through the whole process of education for which it has the functions of diagnosis,orientation,encouragement and supervision etc.There are many problems in the current academic assessment Promoting creativity cultivation:But the core problem is the lack of purpose and the lack of guidance.As a result,the assessment content emphasizes the mastery of existing knowledge,but does not pay attention to the development of students' creative thinking,the mechanical mode of evaluation,and so on.However,the development of creativity is an important part of the academic achievement of college students,whether it can cultivate top-notch creative talents is an important indicator to measure the level of running a school.There is important theoretical and practical significance for exploring the path of achievement in academic assessment to promote the development of students' creativity.based on the theoretical basis of Creative education theory,learning process theory and multiple assessment theory,the paper analyzes the relationship between creativity training and academic assessment.It is found that: there is a complex relationship between academic assessment and creativity.academic assessment plays a guiding,stimulating and monitoring role in the cultivation of college students' creativity,and is an important guarantee factor for the cultivation of creativity;the learning environment created by academic assessment is an important factor in creating motivation;academic assessment may promote or inhibit students' creativity,and there are two kinds of effects on creativity: direct and indirect;The degree of influence of different assessment elements on creativity is also inconsistent;making good use of the two assessment links of classroom assessment and course completion test is of critical significance for the cultivation of creativity.Through in-depth analysis of various links and elements in the academic assessment,It is found that the concept of assessment mainly affects the establishment of environment.the subject of assessment mainly affects the stimulation for the creative motivation,the feedback of assessment mainly affects the resilience of will for creation,the content and method of assessment directly impact the development of creative thinking.As the typical case in the reform of academic assessment,BJ University and NC University are analyzed for their main practice and effect to seek for the experience and inspiration that can be referenced.The features of BJ University for the academic assessment is to “respect choice and combine diversity”,The features of NC University for the academic assessment is “the strength of the base,the focus on the quality and individuation”.Both schools attach great importance to the guiding role of academic assessment,cultivate creative talents by actively adjusting the content and methods of academic assessment.Through questionnaires and Interview research methods,Questionnaire survey of 1,204 students in 16 universities using the Williams Creativity Test Scale and self-made scales,Rethinking the Status Quo and Problems of Academic assessment and Creativity Cultivation in Chinese Universities from the Perspective of Evidence.The survey found that,The students surveyed believe that there is a significant correlation between the assessment of creativity and the lack of creativity of college students in academic assessment;There is a significant difference in the creativity of students who prefer different types of test questions;There are significant differences in the level of creativity development among the different preferences of the course completion test.The main problems for the insufficiency of academic assessment on the enhancement of cultivation for creativity are: Poor orientation,process neglect,insufficient integration,poor performance.The crucial reasons for the cause of these problems are:The goal of creativity training is not clear,assessment of the concept of promoting development is difficult to implement,the insufficient recognition on the functions of assessment which are development and encouragement,the insufficient guidance for the development of students' personality,the lack of scientific supervision on the content of assessment and Innovation in the way of assessment is subject to multiple constraints etc.Based on the research of Theoretical and practical on relationship between academic assessment and creativity cultivation,drawing on the research results of China's multi-assessment theory and creative education theory,there are some suggestions on the reform of academic assessment in Colleges in China from the Five elements of academic assessment.It is suggested to develop the reform of academic assessment by multiple channels: transforming the concept of evaluation to guide students to develop individuality;adjust evaluation content to guide students to pay attention to creation;expand the evaluation subject to guide students to participate in the evaluation;Enrich evaluation methods to guide students to activate thinking;Standardized evaluation feedback guides students to enhance self-confidence.In addition,in the specific assessment phase,the assessment on the course learning should be applied with flexible and diversified assessment method in accordance with the difference of nature,target and teaching mode for the course,the development of students' creativity must be focused for the purpose of assessment,the inspection on the creativity must be appropriately enhanced for the content of assessment,it must be advantageous to enhance the development of students' creative thinking on the method of assessment;the assessment mode of “base + classification assessment” may be established for the assessment on comprehensive quality.
