| In October 2020,the State Council of the CPC Central Committee has issued the Master Plan for Deepening the Reform of Educational Evaluation in the New Era,and provided important instructions for the reform.It stressed that,by 2035,we have to establish an educational evaluation system featuring the characteristics of The Times,highlighting Chinese characteristics and reflecting the world level basically.At the same time,in such an era of lifelong education,people need to become self-active learners and learn to educate themselves.Based on this,it is of positive practical significance to study junior high school students’ learning self-assessment and its relationship with academic achievement.Firstly,designing the study tool.Through literature analysis and Delphi,the researcher has constructed an analytical framework of learning self-assessment,which includes the subject quality of learning self-assessment,the content of learning self-assessment,the standard of learning self-assessment,the method of learning self-assessment and the result of learning self-assessment.Based on the analysis framework,questionnaire design and interview design were carried out,and "Questionnaire on the Status Quo of Learning Self-assessment of Junior High School Students","Interview Outline on the Status Quo of Learning Self-assessment of Junior High School Students(Student)" and "Interview Outline on the Status quo of Learning Self-assessment of Junior High School Students(Teacher)" were designed,which have good quality.After finishing the design of the study tool,an offline questionnaire survey was conducted in L middle School,G middle School and X middle School.A total of 984 questionnaires were sent out and 959 were collected.Among them,874 are valid questionnaires,and the effective questionnaire rate is 91%.At the same time,we conducted in-depth online and offline interviews with 11 junior high school students and 11 junior high school teachers.Through questionnaire survey and interview survey,more detailed data were collected.By using descriptive analysis,difference analysis and correlation analysis,it was found that:(1)The overall situation of junior high school students’ learning self-assessment needs to be improved.Specifically,students’ understanding to learning self-assessment is shallow,and the attitude still needs to improve;The content of learning self-assessment is not comprehensive and specific;The standard of learning self-assessment is less scientific and clear;The method of learning self-assessment is lack of diversity;The accuracy of the result of learning self-assessment is poor,the credibility needs to discuss,and the handling situation is not perfect.(2)There are significant differences in the learning self-assessment of junior high school students in terms of gender,grade,whether they are class committee or class representative,but not in terms of whether they are the only child.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between learning self-assessment and academic achievement of junior high school students,and learning self-assessment has a positive predictive effect on academic achievement.Based on the above findings,the following recommendations are proposed to optimize the learning self-assessment of junior high school students: Balance the evaluation structure with constructing a system;Establish personality standards between teachers and students’ negotiation;Optimize the assessment method;Assess comprehensively with triangular verification;Create a relaxed environment with acceptance and inclusiveness;Smooth the way for solutions with caring and cooperation. |
