Research On Entrepreneurship Of Agricultural Migrant Labors Under The Background Of Urbanization

The citizenization of agricultural migrant labors is a key problem of urbanization in China.As urbanization needs industrial foundation and citizenization needs employment,employment driven by entrepreneurship is important.Especially after the global financial crisis in 2008,more and more agricultural migrant labors transfer from the southeast coastal area to home town.As the widespread entrepreneurship and innovation develop in China,agricultural migrant labors are facing with important opportunities.Under the circumstance,this dissertation studies on entrepreneurship of agricultural migrant labors under the background of urbanization in China.Through the analysis of significance,influencing factors,practical difficulties of agricultural migrant labors entrepreneurship,targeted policy suggestions are formulated."Why do we need to promote agricultural migrant labors entrepreneurship" is the starting point of this study.Entrepreneurship is conductive to promoting employment,to driving more agricultural migrant labors integrate into cities and towns,and to speeding up the process of urbanization in China.Entrepreneurship is also the micro-foundation for industrial agglomeration and industrial development.It is beneficial to consolidate industrial base of the small and medium-sized cities and towns,to promote process of urban and rural integration,and to accelerate development of the central and western regions.The research on the influencing factors of agricultural migrant labors entrepreneurship based on the perspective of decision is not only the focus of theoretical analysis and empirical research in this dissertation,but also the basis of problems and corresponding countermeasures.In the part of theoretical analysis,this dissertation constructs a theoretical model of entrepreneurial decision influencing factors on the basis of labor migration theory,bounded rational decision hypothesis,entrepreneurial bricolage theory,agglomeration theory,social school views of entrepreneurial theory and so on.This dissertation argues that entrepreneurial motivation,entrepreneurial ability,entrepreneurial resource and entrepreneurial environment constitute the decision influencing factors of the agricultural migrant labors entrepreneurship.Among them,the entrepreneurial motivation is an important motive force.Entrepreneurial ability and resource conduct the internal and external condition.Entrepreneurial environment is a key support to the agricultural migrant labors entrepreneurship.Entrepreneurship decision includes two parts.One is entrepreneurial entry decision.It is also called "whether to start a business or not".And the other one is entrepreneurial choosing decision.It is also called "how to start a business".In entrepreneurial entry decision part,entrepreneurial motivation plays an important role.It is also an important factor of agricultural migrant labors different from other business beginners.And entrepreneurship resource as well as entrepreneurial ability have positive influences in this stage.The entrepreneurial choosing decision includes choosing the specific form of entrepreneurship and choosing the specific industry.Entrepreneurship with hiring is the general meaning of entrepreneurship.But starting a business without hiring could be a main form of the agricultural migrant labors entrepreneurship.Individual entrepreneurial resources and abilities affect both the specific form and the industry of the entrepreneurship.The reason that agricultural migrant labors entrepreneurship mostly concentrated in the low-end and traditional industry is related to its insufficient resources and abilities.However,as the new generation of agricultural migrant labors expanding,their entrepreneurial industry distribution has been differentiated.Generally,the influences of entrepreneurial motivation,resource and ability are based on individuals,while the entrepreneurial environment has mass and regional influences.In the empirical research part,based on datas of the transferred population survey and other statistical yearbooks,six major hypotheses of theoretical analysis are empirically tested.To test these six hypothesis,this dissertation mainly uses the Probit model and clustering analysis method as well as construction of entrepreneurial environment index system.The empirical results verify the main hypotheses."How to promote agricultural migrant labors entrepreneurship" is the main purpose of this dissertation.Based on theoretical and empirical analysis conclusions,this dissertation sums up the characteristics and mainly problems of agricultural migrant labors entrepreneurship.To solve these problems,targeted policy suggestions are formed.First of all,strengthen vocational training and entrepreneurship education to enhance the technical and entrepreneurial skills as well as professional quality of agricultural migrant labors.Secondly,speed up the implementation of financial support policies,encourage credit support from financial institutions and accelerate reform of rural land.Thirdly,optimize guide policies on supporting facilities for public services as well as innovative entrepreneurial culture atmosphere.Fourthly,encourage more agricultural migrant labors with entrepreneurial experiences to be out of the low end of industries.Enhance the promotion of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial demonstration.
