| China is a vast country.While its economy is developing rapidly and with high quality,there are also profound problems and contradictions in the economic development of different regions.Scholars pay close attention to the differences between east and west,north and south,and between urban and rural areas in the level of economic development and show their due economic wisdom to the problems caused by unbalanced regional development.However,in terms of the per capita GDP ratio difference in 2017,the difference in economic development level between the central cities in the province and the cities in the inter-provincial border region is far greater than the difference between the eastern and western regions and the urban differences.The difference of economic development level represents the imbalance and disharmony of regional economic development,and the "inter-provincial border region" seems to be a kind of "special" region in China.In the past 30 years,scholars'research on such areas has shown fragmented and unsystematic characteristics,but they all convey overlapping,long-term and complex problems.China's high-quality economic development and the coordinated development of China's regional economy should pay more attention to the "inter-provincial border areas" such as the underdeveloped and long-term underdeveloped areas.Based on the reality and aiming at the "particularity" of the "inter-provincial border region",this paper focuses on the development context,problems and characteristics of the "inter-provincial border region" which has been in the "problem region" for a long time.By many scholars in the study,on the basis of the author,based on regional economics,economic geography,spatial economics multidisciplinary cross Angle,summarized the regional development strategy,regional coordinated development theory,regional balanced development theory and the research involves the related theory,regional economics and combed the domestic and international the relevant context and research results of "provincial border",a scientific definition of the concept of "regional" and provincial border region" category.Constructed on this basis,the inclusion of multi-scale spatial analysis logic system,from the time dimension and space dimension the origin of the common recognition problems,the present situation,characteristics,causes,classification and countermeasures of the organic combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods,empirical analyses the differences of China's provincial border area development and multi-scale space-time evolution characteristics,and puts forward scientific countermeasure on related issues.The main content of this study is divided into the following parts:the first part is the scientific delineation of the research area,the whole scope of the prefecture-level administrative region in the inter-provincial boundary area is defined from the perspective of China's whole region,and the research and analysis framework is constructed with clear logical research steps,index measurement system and method support system.The second part starts from its historical origin,economic geography,political economy and other multiple perspectives to study the source and status quo of the problem.On the basis of insight into the complexity of the problem and the reality of the research problem,the entropy method is used to measure the economic development level of the research region from 2008 to 2017 and dynamically analyze its influencing factors.The third part is to analyze the spatial homogeneity,heterogeneity and influencing factors of relevant prefecture-level administrative regions on the established regional scale.The fourth part is to analyze and evaluate the factors that lead to the large difference in regional development,the long-term underdevelopment of most regions in the research area and the problem of unbalanced and inadequate regional development in the established regional scale,and then analyze the causes of different problems.The fifth part is on the basis of sorting out the economic differences and the characteristics of economic development in the research area,demarcating the category of the research area,and further exploring the complexity of the research area.The sixth part is based on the results of this study,which clearly points out the urgent necessity of the development of China's inter-provincial border region and the feasible countermeasures to different problems in the region.After two years of research,this paper draws the following conclusions:first,the development level of China's inter-provincial border region is quite different,and this difference presents multi-scale,microwave regional complexity and problem complexity.Second,China's provincial border area presents the trend of development not harmonious whole,from space sex,located in the central provinces border area integral space more homogeneous,there is no space located in the provincial border regions in the west of the homogeneity,located in the eastern provinces border area of spatial homogeneity between the central and western,shows a provincial border regions of spatial homogeneity and the whole of China's eastern,central and western economic development level,degree of concentration,improve and perfect the market level,differentiation also presents the spatial elements and economic activity agglomeration unbalance rendering.Third,in terms of China's provincial border region difference,geographical probe model did not detect the influence factors of spatial heterogeneity,detection results show different years and the influence of different factors,different regions of China provincial regional differences between the problem of complex factors,using a single research methods or econometric model can't measure.However,such statistical indicators as per capita GDP and urban-rural income difference can directly reflect the individual differences in the research area.Fourth,in terms of the economic efficiency measurement results of China's inter-provincial border regions,the overall economic efficiency of the prefecture-level administrative regions at the inter-provincial border in the western region is low,but the economic efficiency of the regions with well-developed characteristic industries,such as ordos in Inner Mongolia,is high.The economic efficiency of the prefecture-level administrative regions at the inter-provincial border between Guangdong province and the four municipalities directly under the central government is low.Fifth,the measurement results of regional economic development level,spatial effect,and economic efficiency support and confirm each other.Sixth,in terms of the comparison results of per capita GDP between the inter-provincial border region and the central city within the province,the distance between the two has a certain correlation with the comparison results.However,such"economic radiation distance" is not absolute,which can exclude the pure spatial economic relationship of uniform space policies to some extent.The scale of secondary industry,population size and urbanization level are still important factors affecting these regions,which also shows the importance and significance of the combined effects of factors,agglomeration and institutional factors.Seventh,Hu Huanyong Line on the development of provincial border regional administrative region is not "absolute boundary",also suggests that Hu Huanyong Line represents the density distribution of the population,urbanization level,geography,geological disadvantage is not the decisive factor of economic development,the relative broke in a certain sense"determinism of factor endowments,local area has the city agglomeration and the" Hu Huanyong line "the general mechanism of the" intermediate state ",and influenced by factors other than policy of urbanization space uniformity,adjustment.,8 provinces border region underdeveloped,poverty and the yuan dynasty began "jagged" is directly related to the boundary division,including alpine pastures,more attention must be paid to the meadow wetland,virgin forests,snow-capped mountains,glaciers,special landform and geology area of desert ecological barrier function of provincial border regions,and specialization and differentiation formulate development countermeasure.Ninth,based on the development differences in China's inter-provincial border areas and the results of multi-scale research,the author classifies the research areas in two forms according to the logic of economic development level,namely,according to"underdevelopment level" and "underdevelopment level".The tenth,based on the development of China's provincial border regions difference is larger and much less developed level deeper,development uncoordinated problem quite a lot and profound and complex,this study put forward the countermeasures for the development of in the less developed provinces border area to speed up the urbanization process,and on the premise of ecological protection adjust measures to local conditions out of the "less developed trap",at the same time will be at the top of China's provincial border design and overall planning as a whole into China's regional development strategy system,in order to ensure a provincial border regional sustainable harmonious development in the future.This study is an applied research,based in China's provincial border regions,on the research methods and research perspectives have certain exploration,the author thinks superficially features in this paper,the research and innovation can be summarized as follows:first,the first national level identify the scope of provincial border regional administrative region,to regional administrative region as the research unit scale and identify its number is 98.Second,for the first time,from the perspective of the inter-provincial border region,the research units of 98 prefecture-level administrative regions at the inter-provincial border region are used to analyze the economic development level of the research region in a hierarchical way,identify the influencing factors of economic development and find certain rules.Third,to explore and verify the development of provincial border regions,the regional administrative region according to the level of economic development between the 98 provincial classification,and analyze the reasons,at the same time,based on the provincial border regional administrative region's per capita GDP per capita GDP and its province central city contrast found that researchers pay close attention to the problem of inertia to know the influence of the development of the provincial border regions "center-edge","economic gravity","theory of economic radiation and other reasons,cannot explain and cover the whole types of provincial border area development and the deep behind the problem.Fourth,the domain for the first time in China on the basis of the combination of space model and statistical method,identify the provincial border regional administrative region of the country's spatial homogeneity and heterogeneity,combined with 98 of provincial border regional administrative region economic efficiency and the income gap between urban and rural areas,urbanization rate,such as classification,analysis the reason and puts forward corresponding countermeasures. |
