Research On The Platform Transformation Of Manufacturing Industry

No enough self-innovation which lead to the level of technology stay low,unbalance development of industries which lead to the added value of products stay low,missing abilities of supply chain which lead to the ability of resistance risk stay low,and insufficient domestic demand are,nowadays,development bottlenecks of our manufacturing.However,with the development of Internet and information technology,platform economy plays a role in business and several platform enterprises can bring the revolution in the whole industry.As a result of integration between information industry and other industries,platforms bring powers for economy growth and fuel the transformation of enterprises.With the advent of information era,manufacturing also join the group striving for establishing their-own platform.Due to the distinct differences exist in manufacture compared to internet companies,the process of platformaztion are more completed than purely internet company whose products are virtual.Additionally,as a new and infant way that are put into practice,there are important meaning for probing how manufacturing do the platformaztion for breaking its' development bottlenecks.Besides,platform theory that came into being in the manufacture in the 1990 s illustrates the revolution happen in manufacturing model,in the sense of management theory.After that,two-sides market theory that from the aspect of economics is mentioned by scholars is used to explain what impacts platform incur,which promotes the development of platform economy theory.Since the power of promoting growth possessed by platform,scholars begin their researches on the influences of it with supply chains,innovation,and business model.All of that makes platform economy become a central issue and frontier science.This paper put a possible path of manufacturing transformation through platformatzion forward,with integrating the platform theory from both management and economics aspects.Firstly,it concludes the four types of platformatzion in manufacturing via the history of the manufacture development,brings the four elements of platform by analyzing our social phenomenon of platform,and analyzes the economic effects that platforms incur from supply and need perspective,information asymmetry perspective,openness and coordination perspective,and external network perspective,respectively.With the base of what has got,it builds the framework of manufacturing platformatzion and interpret the mechanism of it.Secondly,it applies a mathematical model that deductive reasoning the logic of framework to analyze relative factors that determine manufacturing platformatzion,with the trend of profits change.Then it applies the case-studymethod to prove the mechanism of manufacturing platformatzion and formulates the logic and prerequisites of it.Lastly,it finds out the problems of transformation in the way of platformatzion though sorting out the Chinese manufacturing platformatzion's status quo and several suggestions are proposed.
