Research On The Relationship Between Enterprise Alliance Capability,Standard Alliance Network And Technological Innovation Performance

With the globalization of information,the development of science and technology has shown a rapid trend,and international competition has become increasingly fierce.In the past fifteen years,developed countries such as the United States,Britain,Germany,and Japan have achieved rapid economic development through the implementation of standardization strategies.However,China still passively implements international or other national standards in most cases,and the backwardness in standard competition has become a major factor restricting China's innovation and development.In order to survive and develop,Chinese companies have gradually begun to imitate the successful experience of foreign innovation alliances,and have gradually realized that by crossing organizational boundaries and coordinating and absorbing external innovation resources,they can obtain a synergy of "1+1>2".At present,the academic community has carried out relevant studies from different theoretical perspectives,but there is no consensus on the impact of enterprise standard innovation and alliance network on technology innovation performance.Moreover,in practice,the success rate of enterprise alliance is always difficult to improve,and standard competition is often at a disadvantage.This research is based on the current era background and practical issues,based on the SSP(Strategy-Structure-Performance)research paradigm,cut from the level of the top managemen team,to explore the impact of enterprise alliance capability on the standard alliance network and technology innovation performance.It reveals the mediating effect of the standard alliance network in the enterprise alliance capability and technology innovation performance,and the moderating effect and the moderated mediating effect of the top management team between the enterprise alliance capability and the standard alliance network.While filling the theoretical gap,it hopes to provide a theoretical reference for the strategic management of Chinese enterprise innovation alliances.This research reviews and sorts out the theories of strategic choice,resource dependence,social network and high-level echelon based on research purposes.It also summarizes and summarizes the existing research on enterprise alliance capability,standard alliance network,technology innovation performance,and top management team.In order to gain an in-depth understanding of the real situation of enterprise alliance capability,standardalliance network and technology innovation performance,this study selected the top management team of a manufacturing company from Changchun,Harbin,Suzhou and Shenzhen each to conduct surveys and interviews and conduct case studies and analysis.After interactive verification of theoretical analysis and case studies,the core constructs are determined,concept definitions and dimensions are divided,and theoretical models are constructed.Based on this,through the support of relevant literature,35 specific research hypotheses are further proposed.Subsequently,the scale used was revised through pre-investigation,and a large sample questionnaire survey was conducted among top managers of manufacturing companies in seven cities: Beijing,Shenzhen,Shanghai,Hangzhou,Chongqing,Changchun,and Harbin.In the end,a total of 465 valid questionnaires were obtained.The sample characteristics analysis,common method deviation,reliability and validity test and multicollinearity test were performed on the obtained data.After that,the valid data that passed the test was used to verify the hypothesis proposed in this article by using hierarchical stepwise multiple linear regression analysis and SPSS Process.The results show that 34 of the 35 hypotheses put forward by this study are supported.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Enterprise alliance capability has a positive impact on technology innovation performance.This research divides alliance capabilities into 5 dimensions for specific verification and analysis.The research finds that inter-enterprise coordination,inter-alliance coordination,inter-organizational learning,enterprise alliance proacttiveness and enterprise alliance transformation all have a positive impact on technology innovation performance.(2)Enterprise alliance capability have a positive impact on the standard alliance network.This study divides the standard alliance network into two dimensions for specific verification and analysis.Inter-enterprise coordination,inter-alliance coordination,inter-organizational learning,enterprise alliance proacttiveness and enterprise alliance transformation have a positive impact on the standard alliance network structure and standard alliance network relationship.(3)The standard alliance network has a mediating effect between enterprise alliance capability and technology innovation performance.Based on the conclusions(1)and(2),it is verified that the network structure and network relationship of the standard alliance have a positive impact on the performance of technology innovation.Furthermore,the structure and relationship of the standard alliance network have mediating effect between theinter-enterprise coordination and technology innovation performance,between inter-alliance coordination and technology innovation performance,between inter-organizational learning and technology innovation performance,between the enterprise alliance proacttiveness and technology innovation performance,and all of them are partial mediating effect.And the structure and relation of the standard alliance network have mediating effect between the enterprise alliance transformation and the technology innovation performanc,but is a complete mediating effect.(4)The attention and political skills of the top management team have a positive effect between the enterprise alliance capability and the standard alliance network.The attention of the top management team has a positive moderating effect between the enterprise alliance capability and the standard alliance network structure and the relationship between the standard alliance network.And the interaction between the attention of the top management team and the enterprise alliance capability indirect affects technology innovation performance through the standard alliance network structure is proven,but through the standard alliance network relationship does not hold.Moreover,the political skills of the top management team play a positive role in moderating the relationship between the enterprise alliance capability and the standard alliance network structure and relationship,and indirect affects the technology innovation performance is proven.This article aims to explore the mechanism of interaction between enterprise alliance capability,standard alliance network,technology innovation performance,and the attention and political skills of the top management team.The innovation points and theoretical contributions are mainly reflected in:(1)Enriched research on social networks and high-level echelon theory.Based on the viewpoints of strategic choice theory and resource dependence theory,this research considers the dynamic changes of the external environment of the enterprise and the development needs of the enterprise.Furthermore,combined with social network theory,it is believed that the direct or indirect connection between or within standard alliances promotes the sharing and integration of various resources.Based on this discussion on the related issues of the standards alliance network,it is found that the "strong relationship" view in the standards alliance is more applicable.Combined with the theory of high-level echelon,consider that the senior management team is the core of corporate management,and explore the cognitive and behavioral variables of the senior management team,that is,the influence of attention and political skills in the alliance strategy.(2)Clarifies the three relationships among enterprise alliance capabilities,standard alliance networks and technology innovation performance.Based on the SSP research paradigm,the research framework of this article "Enterprise Alliance Capability-Standard Alliance Network-Technology Innovation Performance" is proposed,and combined with existing literature and case analysis,each research construct is defined and divided into dimensions.By analyzing the whole process of the alliance,it discusses in detail the influence path of the various dimensions of the alliance capability on the structure and relationship of the standard alliance network,and clarifies the positive and significant relationship between the standard alliance network and technology innovation performance.While supplementing the theoretical gaps in social networks and other related fields,the above content opens the black box of the relationship between enterprise alliance capabilities,standard alliance networks and technology innovation performance,and also provides reference for enterprises in building standard alliance networks and improving technology innovation performance.(3)A diversity of research methods using literature,case studies and large sample surveys.This article not only has a detailed literature research basis,but also has case studies as supporting materials,combined with large sample data for quantitative analysis and verification.The research method is innovative in the research of standard alliance network and TMT attention,and the conclusions drawn are relatively accurate and reliable.
