Prosocial behaviors in the juvenile delinquent population

Abstract/Summary:
This study aims to investigate whether or not juvenile delinquents possess prosocial behaviors. Prosocial behaviors are behaviors that are positive forms of behavior, such as altruism and cooperation, and are meant to do well towards another person. It is hypothesized that due to the nature of the juvenile justice system which focuses on rehabilitation, that juvenile delinquents do possess prosocial behaviors. Participants will be administered the Child Social Behaviour Questionnaire and the Novaco Anger Scale - Provocation Inventory.
