Abstract/Summary:
Bullying in the schools has become an increased concern for parents, school personnel, and students as well as for psychologists. Much of the research has focused on the impact of bullying on victims; however, literature is limited in the area of bullying from the perspective of the bully. This study investigated the bullying experience of young male adolescent bullies and provided qualitative information in discerning common themes and/or differences in the bullying experience which may help in future planning programs to address bullying within schools.
