Abstract/Summary:
This research study investigated the relationships between the variables decision behavior and ego strength, decision behavior and gender, and ego strength and gender. Gender was determined from a demographic survey, ego strength was measured using Epstein's Ego-Strength Scale, and, using ethical standards from the literature, ethical or unethical decision behavior was determined from a paper-and-pencil narrative. The results indicate that there are no significant differences between men and women in ego strength or ethical decision behavior, and there is no significant difference in ethical decision behavior based on the level of ego strength.
