An Exoeriment Study Of The Strength Of Guanxi,Rewards And Pullishment And Reputation’s Impact On Ethicai Decision-making

Ethical decision-making is a moral decision-making process involving emotion,under the background of the market economy, this is not just an academic concept, but also a social problem, reflections on ethical decision making is not uncommon to see in social and economic life. Thus push forward the research of ethical decision making.When talking about the influencing factors on ethical decision-making, we may find that both individual characteristics, organizational environment, ethical decision-making problem will make an impact on ethical decision-making behavior, at the same time, under the background of China’s specific relationship which we call Guanxi, Guanxi will intervene in ethical decision-making event and make an impact on the ethical decision-making behavior.Taking these research as a basis, we selected the Guanxi,the individual integrity, reputation as the factors, and make the hypothesizes.In order to test how these factors affect ethical decision-making behavior, we made an experimental study and a survey, the students of Zhejiang University were invented to participate in the experiment by taking part in a computer program which simulating the bidding process in the commercial activities, we studied both the strength of the Guanxi, reputation, punishment to reputation as the factors, to determine the individual integrity,we took an individual integrity test.368students participated in the experiment and the valid number was300. The results show that guanxi do make an impact on ethical decision-making and participates under stronger perception of Guanxi are easier to make unethical decision-making;media exposure to unethical behavior would significantly make less unethical decision-making, and unethical decision-making behavior is also closely related to the individual integrity. Finally, we also discussed about how to reduce the unethical behavior, how to improve the social and economic integrity, how to maintain the economic order according to our research.
