A centralized modeling system for procurement in processing industries

In this study, we propose a hierarchial modeling system for centralized procurement in processing industries. We propose and solve a system of large scale linear, nonlinear and integer programming models. We prove the solution efficiencies for our modeling system via extensive computational experiments. We also provide a framework for the allocation of costs across the various participating plants under our centralized setting.
