| In recent years, IT technology has clearly helped accelerating commercial banking business’s reform effort on intensive operation. Operation-intensive has been one sign of the modern commercial bank. Separation of front-office from back-office, and founding the background centralized processing center has gradually become the most popular reform measures for domestic commercial banks to improve efficiency, mitigate risk, reduce cost, and enhance core competitiveness. Separation of front-office from back-office, and founding the background centralized processing center could save front-office resources and improve its function of marketing and customer serving, which would improve customer satisfaction; while the background processing center could take advantages of intensive operation to standardize and specialize business processing, enhancing the efficiency and the level of risk control. In2007, the people’s Bank of China launched the national Check Image Exchange System, commercial banks like Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank,andMinsheng Bank set up background processing center at that time, and integrate process from aspects of flow and technology, by learning experience from advanced international bank, on the banks of business integration, they gradually realized the background centralized processing through image processing and transmission system. For China Construction Bank, since2010, it has launched counter centralized processing system, which achieve the goal of "simple front-office procedure, intensive standardized back-office processing " for some kind of counter services using imaging and network technologies. The intensive business operation mode would exercise new features on business-management, process and risk distribution of the front and back stage.The author try to conclude and analysis the process, features and risk characteristics of the intensive business operation mode, combing working practice in the intensive business operation mode, as well as deeply analysis main types of risk of the business-management and operation, based on some typical practical cases. Finally, propose specific risk management strategies, including risk management system in intensive business operation mode, management principle, and, put forward solutions on risk classification, risk identification, differentiated management in a practice view. |
