As the working mechanism of the thin seam shearer,the working characteristic of spiral drum has an important influence on the efficiency and safety of the thin seam shearer.The cutting performance and loading performance of thin seam shearer spiral drum and the influence of spiral drum on shearer dynamic characteristics are studied by theoretical analysis,virtual experiment and experimental study.The optimization design and load calculation software of shearer working mechanism is worked out by MATLAB and VB.The factors affecting the cutting performance of the drum are analyzed.The variation rules of cutting power,cutting ratio energy consumption,cutting resistance torque and other performance indexes have been found out.The instantaneous load curve which generated by software provides the external load for shearer dynamic simulation.A combination model of thin seam coal wall and spiral drum is built.The key problems of the coal wall model,such as the setting of the relevant parameters of the particle and the three-dimensional modeling of the spiral drum have been solved.The influence of the drum structure and motion parameters on the coal flow motion distribution is found out through particle tracking and statistical process of loading coal quality,speed distribution and change.Effect weights of different influence factors on the coal loading efficiency are identified through the multi-factor orthogonal experiment.A multibody model of thin seam shearer is built by a multi-software co-simulation platform.The dynamic stress distribution laws of the key components have been obtained through the dynamic analysis of shearer.The reliability of shearer key components under different working conditions has been analyzed by constructing the stress-reliability membership function.The correlation of modal vibration are analyzed combined with CMS of different acceleration test points,and the fatigue property of structural fatigue properties of weak links is determined.According to the mechanics properties determination results of Ordos mine coal sample,the cutting and loading performance of A and B typs drum are analyzed,the industrial test results and numerical simulation results are compared.the results show that:B type drum has good cutting cutting performance,the stability and reliability of shearer is high,the loading efficiency and numerical simulation results are consistent.The results show that the research method is correct and feasible.
