Study On The Holistic Landscape Characterization And Protection Of Mount Song Scenic Spot

The mountain scenic spot is the type of high natural and cultural value in Chinese scenic area system.In the process of long-term development,mountains have been endowed with strong cultural connotation,,its nature and humanity have been integrated into an organic complex.Under the background of the reconstruction of "nature reserve system" in China,it is urgent to discuss and solve the problems such as how to locate the mountain scenic spots as the main body in the original scenic area system and how to protect and inherit resources under the basic characteristics of the high integration of nature and humanity.The holistic landscape characterization and protection research system emphasizes that the scenic spots should always be viewed from the perspective of relevance.It should be based on the understanding of the basic features of the high integration of nature and humanity,and paying attention to the multi-level process of interconnection,restriction,infiltration and integration of natural and human systems,as well as the natural and humanistic,tangible and intangible,representation and root,and so on multiple attributes and qualities.This research method is helpful to analyze the systematic relations and functions among the various elements in the mountain complex,and reveal the humanistic connotation behind it and the spiritual thoughts elucidated.Mount Song is the source of Chinese civilization,which is called "between heaven and Earth" in China,and has long history of orogenic geology and high cultural value.It is also the Middle Mountain in the system of "Five Mountains",which together with the other four mountains constitute the symbol of traditional religious rites and laws in China.In view of this,this paper takes Mount Song as the research object and its normal scale in modern times as the research scope.After establishing the research framework of the holistic landscape characterization and protection,the background factors,process,mechanism and results of the formation of Mount Song scenic spot are analyzed and discussed and strategies for the protection are proposed.In the process of research,the systems of holistic research and landscape characterization research are modified and supplemented,in order to facilitate the construction of a localized natural protection system with China's own quality and characteristics.The study on the holistic value of Mount Song is divided into 4 stages: disassembly and analysis of basic elements,the holistic landscape characterization analysis,and the holistic landscape characterization analysis summary and the protection proposition.The mountain complex is divided into natural system,livelihood system and cultural system,and these 3 systems are divided into several basic elements.Then analysis starts from 4 levels: the interrelation between natural elements,the mutual restriction between nature and livelihood,the mutual penetration between livelihood and culture,and the sublimation crystallization of nature and culture.It covers the consideration and analysis from materiality to spirituality,objectivity to subjectivityThe results show that Mount Song had a very good natural system in history,but it was seriously disturbed by human beings in modern times.At the level of mutual restriction between nature and livelihood,the residential elements in Mount Song have the closest relation with geology and vegetation,while the relation with soil,climate and hydrology is relatively weak.Four types of environmental models,namely back to peak type,surrounded by mountains on three sides type,along the slope type and open on all sides type are put forward.The content of production factors is relatively rich,and the geological factors are obviously restricted.The restriction of livelihood to nature is mainly reflected in the transformation and even adverse impact of humanistic construction on natural system.At the level of mutual penetration between livelihood and spirit,the analysis of faith elements leads to two geomantic modes,namely "embracing style" and "Xingsha style";the moral elements are highlighted by the influence of the view of geographical space order;the analysis of aesthetic elements leads to the conclusion that Mount Song's aesthetic conception is dominated by the feelings of family and state.At the level of sublimation of nature and spirit,geological and climatic characteristics are very important for triggering the emotion peculiar to Mount Song.In addition it can promote the spiritual interpretation of the rich types of physical reality.Finally,based on the holistic landscape characterization study,this paper summarizes the functions and humanistic significance of Mount Song,and compares its salience.And protective objects are extracted from three aspects: driving factor,process and result.This paper puts forward three aspects of protection: optimization of management and development system,calibration of development and inheritance strategy,and improvement of protection and cultivation measures.In conclusion,it is found that study on the holistic landscape characterization and protection can respond well to the general characteristics of the high integration of nature and humanity in mountain scenic spots.As the Middle Mountain,Mount Song has profound political and humanistic connotation.The historical buildings,inscriptions,and aesthetic sequences left behind in the mountain are integrated with nature,and have extremely high holistic value.At the same time,the thoughts of ‘Chinses middle culture',‘domestic and national feelings',‘root culture' and ‘harmony of the three Religions' elaborated by Mount Song have far-reaching spiritual significance.
