Historical Study On The Paradigm Of The Chinese Early Modern City Planning: 1843～1949

The thesis puts great emphasis on the analysis of the history and the paradigm characters of the early modern city planning of china, from which we can find the origin of the early modern city planning of china. And through this work, we can better grasp the process of the development of the early modern city planning of china.The whole thesis is composed of seven chapters.The first chapter contains the object, the purpose, the methods of study, as well as the present status of study about the early modern city planning of china and the things important about the thesis.The next five chapters analyze the paradigms of the Chinese early modern city planning through comparing the western early modern city planning and the Chinese one in five parts. And analysis of typical city plannings which comply with the paradigm is done in detail.The last chapter is the conclusion of the thesis.The purpose of this thesis is to make the methods and angel of gain an apocalypse from the study, provide a reference for city planning and construction in nowadays, make the study practically significant.
