The Study Of Clinical Evaluation Of Curative Effects On The Foundation Of Parkinson's Disease

Clinical evaluation of curative effects is one of the hotspots in current research fields of traditional Chinese medicine, and is the major content in modernizing TCM. The main point of the long-term existence and dogged vitality of the study lies in its clinical efficacy on disease prevention, which is the foundation of its survival and development. A great deal of clinical practice in the long term demonstrates that the therapeutic evaluation system based on the background of western culture and modern medicine cannot cover the contents of TCM theory sufficiently. Under the guidance of TCM theory, a therapeutic evaluation system with TCM features should be established.First of all, this dissertation summerizes the theories of therapeutic evaluation in TCM, including the theoretical research on therapeutic evaluation in both ancient and modern times. The concluding features are present by means of analysis of nine ancient medical classics and representative publications selected from typhoid and JinKui(Golden Chamber), diagnostic methods according to the pathogenic factors, formularies, recordings from various clinical departments, consilia, and other medical literature. And it propounds a prospect in theory of therapeutic evaluation in TCM which is adaptable to modern society through analysis of related contents in journal literature published over the last 10 years.In the next place, the dissertation points out the principal assumption on establishing the therapeutic evaluation system of TCM. First, a comparative analysis between the characteristics of therapeutic evaluation of TCM in ancient and modern times and those of Chinese and western medicine is made to illustrate that the methods and standards of therapeutic evaluation in TCM can not refer to those of western medicine due to the differences between Chinese and western society in historical epochs, economics, politics, ideology, culture, science, technology, disease in western medicine and symptoms in TCM. Those methods and standards should be set up in accordance with the law of TCM. The dissertation then, on that basis, puts forward the principal assumption on establishing modern therapeutic evaluation system of TCM, and it analyses the study on quality of life and the internal connection between those methods, standards and TCM, and the research frame on quality of life of TCM. It also expatiates on the thinking in the research of quality of life scale, which is to introduce it to the therapeutic evaluation of TCM. It presents the contents included in the scale, constructs the exemplary template of the quality of life scale on curative effects evaluation of Parkinson's disease with TCM therapeutics.Based on the assumed application research, observations of curative effects on intervention trial with traditional Chinese drugs for the treatment of patients with Parkinson's disease according with the design criterion for scientific research are carried on clinically, and the unified Parkinson's disease Rating scale and quality of life scale for Parkinson's disease with TCM therapeutics are applied to evaluate the curative effects according to the changes of statistical scores before and after treatment. The results show that the conclusions of the two scales are similar. Therefore, the development and clinical application of the quality of life scale with TCM features to evaluate therapeutic effects are feasible for carrying out.
