| Since the "healthy aging" has been mentioned in World Health Assembly on 1987.5,improving the quality of the old peoples'lives and anti-aging have become an urgent issue of contemporarymedical sciences.Prolonging lives has been discussed a long time by ancient and modern Chinese and foreignmedical scientists,andnow it is still an important issue through the global medical community.Many theories,hypothesis,methods and attempts of how to postpone aging have been put forward till now.Chinese medicine have done much study on aging and anti-aging,including profoundly expounds on theorpies and many valuable methods.Many anti-aging herbs were recorded in ancient Chinese medicine books,and the reasons of aging and anti-aging are deeply explored from different view points.These knowledge have guided the Chinese people keeping in good health care effectively,and they should be study seriously.The kind of anti-aging Chinese medicines in this paper couclude"prolongling lives,long-term survival,delay aging".Investigating range of herbal medicine in TCM ancient books,is based on"Chinese TCM ancient books catalogue",in the part of "materia medica" notinccluding" foreign content"and which is before 1911(including 1911),and we choose 155 books,226 kinds of herbal medicine which can "prolongiing lives,long-term survival,delay aging" are picked up.Works selection criteria:to collect books and periodicals directory in the national library,the library of Beijing university of Chinesemedicine,Shanghai university of Chinese medicine library using the republic of China,to collect the data by transcribing,photocopying,taking pictures and other possible ways.Analysismethods involve the following:cataloguing the collection of traditional Chinese medicine books and checking book titles,authors,publishers,the edition,publishing time,the situation,collection of information content;reading book content and checking out the medicine;excerpting the ariticles of anti-aging medicine and making excels;classificating the medicine and making excels;comparing the change of the anti-aging medicine's efficacy.The anti-aging medicine's recording and describing in the TCM ancient books,the details of the execls,the general situation,the theoretical basis,the study of efficacy,the impact and contribution are elaborated in this paper.The study Was divided into six parts:The first part is introduction.The narrow sense and generalized explanation of anti-aging are listed,and how to select and analyze the datas are explained.The second part is collecting the anti-aging medicines and making exels.Some kinds of medicines not used now are listed in details.The third part is analyzing the medicines,including the change of the medicines'effect and the mechanism of anti-aging.The fourth part is the theoretical basis of anti-aging medicines'developing,including history background,thought background,medical background,culturebackground.The fifth part is efficacy study,including representative doctrine in ancient and now,and the analysis of some ore medicines.The sixth part is the influences and contribution of anti-aging medicines,including the treatment by clinical drugs,diets and folk culture.This paper comes to three conclusions by the data and the analysis in the six parts:Conclusion One:the tonic medicines make the majority of anti-aging medicines,most of them are sweet and warm,and they can nourishing liver and kiney.Conclusion Two:the developing of anti-aging medicines is affected by wars,natural disasters in the history background,immortal in thought background,organs and "Yin" "Yang" "Qi" "Xue"in medical background,various kinds of thoughts in culture background.Conclusion Three:anti-aging medicines'developing has a very long history.Verified by modern theory,they have made great influences and contribution of anti-aging medicines,including the treatment by clinical drugs,diets and folk culture. |
