A Study Of Mingren's Notes

Ancient notes are important parts of cultural heritage of Chinese nation.But academic circles haven't attached enough importance to them and researched them for a long time.In Ming Dynasty notes research shows the single research and some situations based on a research topic,however,few scholars have grasped of the macro and discussion of notes.Besides,notes,novels and anecdotal novel are used promiscuously,classified indefinitely and generalized while researching notes.The article takes the notes of Ming Dynasty as a whole research object.After reviewing the process of the notes study,the definition of the notes is summarized,and the basic definition of the notes is made.Then this dissertation select about 1000Ming-dynasty note books as research objects,based on The Catalogue of All Books in Ming Dynasty(unpublished draft,edited by SNU Research Group on "study of Ming-dynasty Writers based on the provincial division)and the Catalogue of Chinese Ancient Books(Chinese Publishing House,Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House,2013).And then select the different content and different times of 230 notes as a research of the object.In the discourse,the classification of notes as an entire framework,several notes are combined to analyze,integrate and analyze features of notes,conclude values of them,and then know about the relations among notes of Ming Dynasty,history,literature and philosophy in order to provide a panorama for the development of notes of the Ming Dynasty.The structure of an article comprises two groups.The former group is the overview of the Ming Dynasty notes,which distinguishes between concepts,analyze contents and conclude values and features.The article is made up of five parts apart from introduction and conclusion.The latter group is the research of Ming Dynasty notes,which collects single notes of the Ming Dynasty according to content classification and time array.The introduction of the former group reviews and analyzes notes and sketchbooks,distinguish concepts between notes and sketchbooks,analyze reasons for confusing,formulate notes' concepts,divide notes into historical materials,recounts,analysis,argument and miscellany,and at last analyze values of notes of the MingDynasty.Chapter two in the former group does research into narrative notes.Vernacular narrative notes which are influenced by history biography literature have many strange materials;Classical narrative notes have artistic conceptions about elegant tastes of refined scholars.Finally this chapter analyses the Ming Dynasty narrative notes tension from transmigration between Buddhism and hell,the world of Daoism and a supernatural,thoughts of folk ghosts and ideas of goblins.Chapter three in the former group does research into analysis notes,which have extensive knowledge and mistakes,and also present different styles between inheriting ancestors and suspecting debating.Chapter four in the former group does research into notes of arguments.Argument notes present theory systems to pursue harmonious heaven and earth and life,detachment life and death,riches and honor,recollect human,self-cultivation and concern knowledge about literature and history.They have characteristics in symmetry and profound.Chapter five in the former group does research into notes of miscellany.Some of them are related in the first four styles.In this chapter are contents and characteristics about natural science,production,medicine and elegant tastes of refined scholars.The conclusion of the former group concludes the Ming Dynasty notes values,characteristics and puts forward imaginary of study direction.The latter group is the research of Ming Dynasty notes,which researches respectively five kinds of historical materials,recounts,analysis,argument and miscellany.In five kinds of notes,each kind of book consists of origin of titles,brief introduction of writers,summary and edition outline.Origin of the title is explained according to the author's self-introduction to his book,which is directly helpful to understand the motivations of writing and book process.The author biography is a simple introduction to the author's life,which can make them well-known and strengthen the understanding of the content of each book.Summary of the contents is to conclude and evaluate each Ming Dynasty notes,so as to have a more macro impression on them.Each of Ming Dynasty notes has a brief introduction about Version.On this basis,each kind of notes is arranged in accordance with the time order,so that each book will have a coordinate type positioning.
