A Study On The Time Category Of "Awakening The World And Marriage"

As a very important part of language research,time category has always attracted much attention.In this paper,time category is regarded as lexical and semantic category,which can be divided into four subcategories:time point,time quantity,time sequence and time frequency according to the different time meanings of its internal members.In view of the problems existing in the study of the current time category,it is more modern,less ancient,more concrete,less systematic,more synchronic and less diachronic,this article starts from ancient literature,takes XingShiYinYuanZhuan as the research corpus,describes the time category of XingShiYinYuanZhuan in a comprehensive and systematic way,and tries to carry out diachronic research on some forms.This paper consists of seven parts:the introduction part sorts out the current situation of time category and the study on the grammar of XingShiYinYuanZhuan,establishes the research object and research method of this paper,and introduces the problems of writing and symbols in the writing process.Chapter 1 is a study on the category of time points in XingShiYinYuanZhuan.According to the introduction of prepositions or not,we divide the time points into the time points without prepositions and the time points with prepositions.The former is divided into absolute time point and relative time point according to different reference standards.According to the semantic meaning of the preposition,the latter can be divided into the time points introduced by the position,the proximity,the end preposition and so on.This chapter also summarizes the rule of preposition looming in the category of time points by comparison,and analyzes the syntactic functions of various forms of time points.Chapter 2 is a study on the category of time quantity in XingShiYinYuanZhuan.According to the accuracy of time quantity,we divide the time quantity into definite time quantity and estimated time quantity,and then find the various forms of expression of the two kinds of time quantity,and analyze the syntactic function and syntactic meaning of the quantitative time quantity.In addition,we also discussed the construction of "V(?)+T(?)","V(?)+T+(?)O" and "?+????",Chapter 3 is a study on the time sequence category and time frequency category of XingShiYinYuanZhuan,which analyzes how the two time sequence are embodied by dominant marker words or implicit expressions,and shows the time frequency classification under the five-degree classification.Chapter 4 is a study on both meanings and USES of the time category in the XingShiYinYuanZhuan,which enumerates and illustrates the situation in which a form in the same subcategory has both meanings and a form belongs to both subcategories,and analyzes the important role of context and other factors in clarifying semantics.Chapter 5 is the historical level research of the time category adverbs in the XingShiYinYuanZhuan,which investigates the historical level and development characteristics of adverbs in the time point,time quantity,time sequence and time frequency category of XingShiYinYuanZhuan.The last is the conclusion.After the comprehensive synchronic description and partial diachronic arrangement of the time category in XingShiYinYuanZhuan,we come to the main conclusion that the time category in XingShiYinYuanZhuan is mainly conveyed by lexical means,and each time subcategory has a rich form of expression,serving different syntactic functions in the sentence.In the time category,the phenomenon of polysemy exists in the subcategory and co-use exists between subcategories,context plays an important role in defining the meaning of time.In the modern Chinese stage of XingShiYinYuanZhuan,the adverbs that express the time point,time quantity,time sequence and time frequency keep relatively stable and constantly evolving.
