Poems selection from eight poets of the Tang-Song period Compiled by AnpingDajun liRong and some literati of Jixian Temple in Chosun dynasty Shizong 26 years(that is in 1444).The book is the poems selection from the famous poets LiBai,Du Fu,Wei Yingwu,Liu Zongyuan,Ouyang Xiu,Wang Anshi,SuShi,Huang Tingjian during the China Tang and Song Dynasties.This book is rarely handed down.Today,this book is only available at the Ancient Printing Museum of QingZhou,South Korea.From what we've found so far,Poems selection from eight poets of the Tang-Song period is the second poems selection about chinese poets compiled by the Korean after the compilation of the Ten Poems per poet in the Goryeo dynasty.It is an important event for Tang and Song poets to spread and accept on the Korean Peninsula,which providing good information for us to understand the spread of Chinese books in North Korea at that time and the criteria for North Korea literati to choose Tang and Song poetry.In recent years,scholars have often mentioned this book in the field of ancient Chinese literature spreading and accepting on abroad.However,due to the inconvenience of borrowing this book,scholars can only study and discuss this book through the relevant prologue,they can't study the specific text in depth.Based on the copy of Poems selection from eight poets of the Tang-Song period collected by the Ancient Printing Museum of QingZhou,South Korea,this paper presents the text of this book in detail through the methods of literature and art,history,and Philology,and explain the background of compiling this book,the characteristics of accepting Chinese poetry,and the books that may be based on it.This paper includes 6 chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly explains the background of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the status quo of the research,and the research methods.The second chapter is the compilation background of Poems selection from eight poets of the Tang-Song period,which mainly explains Sejong attached importance to cultural construction and set up Jixian Temple to provide human resources for book compilation.During the Sejong period,a large number of Chinese books were introduced and printed to provide book resources for compiling poems selections.And in the early period of the Korean dynasty,Chinese poetry skills became more mature.Poetry creation appeared new characteristics of pragmatism,emphasis on skills,pursuit of elegance and emotional peace,which profoundly influenced the compilation of poems selection.And as the leader of the compilation of poems selection,AnpingDajun Lirong,loves Tao Yuanming's pastoral poetry and hidden thoughts.Therefore,he likes to choose poems that express natural landscapes and lyrical poem about the scene.Moreover,as court literati,he and literati of Jixian Temple are intreasted in poetry ordered to be written,communicative poetry,title poetry,and official theme poetry.These backgrounds influence the compilation of poems selection.The third chapter is the compilation characteristics of Poems selection from eight poets of the Tang-Songperiod.First,the poems selection was compiled by Lirong and literati of Jixian Temple.With the help of the National compilation power and book resources,it is also the implementation of national cultural policies while reflecting personal poetry preferences.Second,the poems selection only chooses three kinds of 'modern style' poetry,such as pentasyllabic regulated verse,heptasyllabic regulated verse,heptasyllabic quatrain.They list the poems of eight poets under the three kinds of poetry.Thirdly,the poems selection was influenced by the aesthetic concepts of poetry such as"Naturally and easy" and "Dilute and aftertaste" since the Song Dynasty and the classification of poets centered on Tao Yuanming and Xie Lingyun,paid the same attention to poetry in the Tang Dynasty and in the Song Dynasty.Enthusiasm to choose poems that express natural landscapes and lyrical poem about the scene,and has a strong court interest.The fourth to fifth chapters discuss the poetry selection of eight poets such as Li Bai,Du Fu,Wei Yingwu,Liu Zongyuan,Ouyang Xiu,Wang Anshi,Su Shi,and Huang Tingjian.According to the publication of each edition of the poet's collection,examine and analyze the relevant versions that may have been introduced into Chosun dynasty at that time,to compare each poet's poem with the version on which it might be based,analyse of the similarities and differences between the order and the content of poetry,discover the book version on which the poems selection is based.Through this examination of Philology,the characteristics of 8 poets' poetry texts are presented objectively and comprehensively.The sixth chapter is the conclusion.It further explains the compilation characteristics and philological significance of the Poems selection from eight poets of the Tang-Song period.
