The murals,statues and "Bian Wen" in Dunhuang Grottoes retains a large number of female image.Buddha nature and human nature add radiance and beauty to each other,the casualness suit the refined elegance well and the profundity reflect the intelligence.All these factors contribute to the splendid scene.Researching the image of female in the world of Dunhuang's Buddhist art is an important subject in the history of Chinese art and the history of aesthetics."Flying Apsaras" is the most classic female artistic image of Dunhuang.Flying Apsaras is an aesthetic treasure and the origin of freedom.There are three obvious trends in its evolution history:feminization,localization and secularization.The free spirited beauty of emotion,the vivid beauty of lines and the pluralistic and fused beauty of innovation contribute to the flying beauty of Flying Apsaras.After thousands of years of accumulation,Flying Apsaras,originally used to mend the wall,has become the most typical symbol of the art of Dunhuang.In its graceful form.Flying Apsaras contains the spiritual essence of the traditional Chinese pursuit the freedom and eternal life in the way of "practise in art".Art is based on "human".It is a perfect progress to transform real people into artistic world.As a great practice in the course of the Chinese art,the image of the female provider in Dunhuang attracts people's attention.Because of Zhang Daqian's visit and copying to Dunhuang,the portraits of the providers have a positive impact on the change of painting style of recent and contemporary portraits of ladies.The reasons for the portraits of Dunhuang female providers' phenomenon of'thousand a face' come from main and objective aspects.The art of "regret" can warn and encourage the comers,pursuing the artistic innovation firmly.Telling and singing literature is very important in the development of Chinese popular literature.Analyzing the female image of "Bian Wen" in Dunhuang is the key to Chinese literature and art to go to secular life.The portrayal of female images vividly shows the feminine view of Buddhism and Confucianism and the unique beauty of tragedyThe compassion of female has achieved an important "emotional symbol" of the Chinese nation.The Bodhisattva in Dunhuang is endowed with the fine spirits of the nature.Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva in a female image whose compassionate attribute is related to the traditional concept of importance of fertility,the expectation of folk aesthetic psychology and the negative culture.The artistic charm of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's feminization turns 'female' and 'Buddhism' into sentiment symbols and wins the correspondence of human world with the correspondence of Buddhism.The significance of the image of female in Dunhuang's Buddhist art:From the view of cultural tradition,these images keep elegant and are the witness of the history of the customs of women in the western regions over the past one thousand years.From the view of the aesthetic spirit,these images with the mysterious beauty which is full of warmth and unworldliness,the beauty of tenderness in graceful and reserved female figures and the dazzling lively beauty of prosperity spread the poetry of life.From the view of contemporary art practice.In order to promote the exchange and cooperation between different cultures,we have to further explore the artistic creation value of the image of female in Dunhuang and inherit and carry forward the "Silk Road" which is a cultural symbol with extensive affinity and profound appeal.Only in the way of artistic demeanor like Silk Road Flower Rain can the national temperament and ethnic style of the Chinese nation be highlighted.
