The language is not only an indispensable communication tool in life but also the way of communication unique to humans. It has occurred and developed along with human society.Humans save and pass on the achievements of human civilizations and express personal feelings through languages. As the media of exchanging thoughts, the language will inevitably affect politics, economics, society, science and technology, and even the culture itself. For one thing, the language develops along with human civilizations. For another, the current spatial layout results from past development. The languages of the world are classified into several language families by the similarities in phonetics, grammar, and vocabulary features,as well as their origins. Each language family includes a different number of languages. Also, these language families and languages can be found in specific distribution zones,to which many cultural characteristics are closely related.Generally speaking, each nation has its distinctive language, and Korean is the daily language of Korean nationality. The language is a complicated symbol system where vocabulary is arranged according to the given grammar. It is divided into the phonetic system, vocabulary system, and grammar system. The speech is the material shell of a language, its external form, and a symbol system that records humans' thinking activities most directly. It consists of sounds with specific social meanings created by humans through vocal organs. The speech has four elements, including the pitch, loudness, length, and tone, which jointly lay the physical foundation.Speech language is not only the primary language but also the easiest and most direct way of communication.Besides,it conveys the meanings and feelings expressed by the speaker to the listener more accurately than text languages. It is because the speech language is given more prosodic features than text languages. The prosodic feature is also known as the supra-segmental feature. As a phonetic system of languages, the prosodic feature is closely related to other linguistic structures, such as syntax, textual structure, and information structure. Before understanding oral speech, one should first understand prosodic features.Meanwhile, prosodic features are indispensable for reading text sentences and discourse. Thus it can be seen that prosodic features play indispensable roles in a language.Despite its importance, these features are often neglected in the education of foreign languages. At present, the education of foreign languages attaches more importance to the methods for teaching vocabulary and grammar. While learning pronunciations, students should grasp both the pronunciation of each word and prosodic features to pronounce the language as well as a native speaker. The paper experimented with Han students who major in Korea and study at the College of Korean and Chinese Literature,Yanbian University, using scientific methods for experimental phonetics.Firstly,it analyzed the differences between Han students and Korean teachers in pronunciation with comparative analysis and statistical analysis, aiming to find out the differences between students' pronunciations before and after the acquisition.Next,it analyzed the reasons why some pronunciations cannot be corrected.Eventually,it put forward a teaching plan for prosodic teaching. The first chapter is the introduction that focuses on describing the purpose and significance of the research topic, literature review, research objects, research methodology, and research procedures. The second chapter briefly describes three structure classifications of Korean prosodic features, which lays a theoretical foundation for the paper. The third chapter analyzes the Korean prosodic features when Han students pronounced Korean vocabulary.Next,it compares teachers'pronunciations and students' pronunciations after learning from teachers, aiming to find pronunciations that cannot be corrected and design a targeted teaching plan. The recording materials include 20 bi-syllable,tri-syllable,and quadri-syllable words randomly selected from the vocabulary of advanced Korean textbooks that respondents never contacted. The fourth chapter studies regular intonations after Han students finished reading an entire passage and rested after reading several syllables consecutively. Also,it studies how such intonations differ from teachers' pronunciations.Experimental materials include ten randomly selected declarative sentences, interrogative sentences, imperative sentences, and common sentences. The fifth chapter studies the changes in intonations when Han students read a complete paragraph and mostly the trends in intonations at the end of a sentence.Besides,it compares the pronunciations of students' and teachers',and examines students' pronunciations before and after learning.Next,it summarizes the prosodic features that students failed to correct through acquisition and designs a targeted plan for teaching intonations.Experimental materials include ten randomly selected declarative sentences, interrogative sentences, imperative sentences, and common sentences. The sixth chapter introduces the conclusions drawn based on the above-mentioned analytical findings. It summarizes the prosodic features of Korean pronunciations that students fail to correct through repeated practice when learning Korean.Furthermore,it puts forward targeted advice for teaching. The paper examined the same respondents and observed the changes in pronunciations as Han students kept learning. It aimed to find the prosodic features of Korean pronunciations that students failed to correct through practice and provide fundamental references for teaching Korean.
