After the silk road was opened by Zhang Qian in the Western Han dynasty,the colorful culture of the Western Regions was introduced into the Central China and had a wide influence on people’s life.In the Tang dynasty,the Western Regions became one of the important subjects of poetry writing due to the prevalence of western culture.This paper takes the Western Regions poetry writing as the research object.And through the comprehensive interpretation of its content,characteristics,emotional meaning and value significance,the author hopes to understand the images of the Western Regions in Tang poetry from the perspective of poetry writing.And to highlight the unique value of the Western Regions poetry writing in the Tang dynasty through the comparison with historical records,maps and other literary genres.This paper is divided into five chapters:the first chapter is about the communication between China and the west from the Han to Tang dynasty and the Western Regions of poetry writing.From the Han dynasty to the Tang dynasty,the exchanges between the central China and the Western Regions developed from the beginning to the flourishing.The silk road introduced the colorful western cultures to the central China.Since the biography of Da yuan in the Historical Records,there are much of contents in the history records,which is about the Western Regions’ geography,products,population,custom etc.The Western Regions poetry writing depends on its literary characteristics for showing more vivid and rich western image features,which is typical of the Western Regions poetry writing.Through the analysis of the writing contents and characteristics of the Western Regions poetry writing from the Han to Tang dynasty,it can be seen that the writing of the Western Regions poetry writing of the Han to Tang dynasty poetry has experienced a development process from scratch to maturity and has important value significance.The second chapter is about the typical writing of Western Regions in Han and Tang dynasty poetry.According to the categories,the writing contents of the Western Regions can be divided into five aspects:geography writing,specialty writing,frontier juncture writing,character writing and war writing.In terms of geographical writing,the poems of Han and Tang dynasties have written more on the representative geographical objects such as Kunlun,Tian Shan,Jiao He,and Cong Ling,as well as the outstanding natural features of the Western Regions,thus highlighting the unique natural environment characteristics of the Western Regions.In terms of the writing of products,Tian Ma and music and dance of the Western Regions are deeply loved by people in the Central China.In the writing of Han and Tang poetry,they present vivid artistic style,which is an important record and witness of the cultural exchanges between the east and the west.In terms of frontier juncture writing,Yang Guan and Yu-men Guan,which are located at the border between the Central China and the Western Regions,have been important gateways between the Central China and the Western Regions since the Han dynasty.They have witnessed the flourishing exchanges between China and the west and the pain of pedestrians’ separation,so they have deep emotional attachment in writing poems.In the aspect of character writing,Hu Ji from the Western Regions present a unique foreign style due to their enthusiastic attitude and shows a distinct humanistic style in their poetry writing.At the same time,since Cao Zhi,the patriotic writing represented by the rangers galloping in the northwest frontier area has become an important content of the frontier writing of the poets.In terms of war writing,due to the importance of the geographical location of the Western Region,various forces fought for the Western Region in many wars.The poems of the Han and Tang dynasties extensively described the war in the Western Region from three aspects:the power of the Central Chinese army,the tragic casualties brought by the war and the reflections on the successive wars.Through the expression of poetic language,these related contents of the Western Region have a more vivid modality,and with the spread of poetry,so as to have a lasting vitality,become the object that was chanted continuously.The third chapter is about the characteristics of the Western Regions writing in Tang poetry.Writing about the Western Regions of Tang dynasty poetry not only has the distinctive typicality of writing contents,but also has the unique artistic characteristics of its technique of expression.Its concrete expression is in three respects.Firstly,there is the magnificent characteristics of the Times.Due to the historical environment of the prosperous period of the Han and Tang dynasties,most of the poets show up the high-spirited characteristics of times.Under the action of this impassioned times,the poets mostly write about the magnificent scenes of the Western Regions.The second is the colorful Western regional features.Tang dynasty poetry mainly from the geographical environment,products,cultural features of the three aspects of the western regions of the typical exotic characteristics.Thirdly,there is the profound sad realistic characteristics.In the Western Regions of Tang poetry,the bleak scene on the battlefield after the war and the lonely feelings of the people are depicted in the writing of these contents,showing the profound and sad characteristics of reality.The fourth chapter is about the Western Regions of Tang poetry.As the art of poetry is characterized by typical art of emotional sustenance,there are not only descriptions of related things in the Western Regions,but also strong emotional sustenance of poets.It is mainly manifested in three aspects:the desire to make achievements in the Western Regions,the recognition of the Tang dynasty,and the emphasis on the value of individual life.The fifth chapter is about the influence and value of writing in the Western Regions of Tang poetry.As an important part of the writing content of Chinese classical poetry,writing about the Western Regions of Han and Tang poetry has a wide influence on the art of poetry.First of all,the images of Kun Lun,Lou Lan and Yu Men Guan in the Western Regions of Han and Tang poetry became the classic images used in the later poetry creation.Secondly,the magnificent natural features of the Western Regions make the artistic conception of poetry more magnificent.Thirdly,the description of the related things in the Western Regions enriches the aesthetic experience of the poetic art.Because of these unique artistic features and rich emotional implications of the Western Regions writing of Han and Tang poetry,it has important value.So the value is mainly about historical data,the rich western image,the expansion of the Western Regions,new material and style,and the appeal of the prosperous Han and Tang dynasties.This paper uses the means of literature analysis and statistics,combination of literature and history,and interdisciplinary research.That is using for sorting out and counting the Western Regions writing contents in the Tang poetry.The historical background of the communication between China and the west in the Tang dynasty and the cultural elements of the Western Regions in the poetry writing are explained.The study on the Western Regions writing of Tang poetry not only highlights the typical value of Tang poetry,but also shows the important practical significance. |
