Taking the Central Soviet Area as the research center, this paper examines the history of art development in rural revolutionary base areas by using the theoretical path of art communication, and tries to explain the historical problems, the mode of communication and its characteristics and influence of the revolutionary art activities in the rural society along the Fujian-Jiangxi border during 1927-1937.It tries to open up new ways for the study of revolutionary art,Soviet culture and the theoretical study of art communication. The main body of the paper consists of three parts: introduction, body and conclusion,of which the body is divided into three chapters.Chapter one makes a panoramic Retrospect and comment on the historical evolution of the dissemination of revolutionary art in China, and reproduces the Soviet art dissemination ecology which survived and developed in the local society of Fujian and Jiangxi from 1927 to 1937.The first section, first reviews the germination background of revolutionary art communication in China, and defines the space-time concept of revolutionary art communication research in the Central Soviet Area.Secondly, according to the development characteristics of art communication, the history of art communication can be divided into three stages. The first stage is the birth and embryonic stage. In this stage, the embryonic form of revolutionary art in the Central Soviet Area is emerging from the two revolutionary base areas of southern Jiangxi and Western Fujian. The paper emphasizes the early attempts of the dissemination of revolutionary art in Jinggangshan Period, and reveals the important influence of the Western Fujian Soviet Area on the dissemination of revolutionary art in the Central Soviet Area. The second stage is the period of development and maturity. It mainly analyses the changes of communication conditions and system development in the period when revolutionary art in the Central Soviet Area developed continuously and reached its peak. The third stage is the period of crisis and sinking. It expounds the characteristics of revolutionary art communication activities in the Central Soviet Area after the revolutionary situation changed from prosperity to decline, and focuses on the transformation of art communication forms and the accumulation of art materials in the period of sinking. The second section, context analysis, respectively from the local context and the literary and artistic context of two angles to start the discussion. On the one hand, the study on local context elaborates the development conditions of Min and Jiangxi provinces for the spread of revolutionary art in the Soviet Area from the two aspects of disadvantageous factors and favorable factors. On the other hand, the article holds that the literary and artistic contexts both inside and outside the Soviet area have an impact on the development of revolutionary art in the Soviet area. The trend of social and cultural modernization and the efforts of the left-wing literary and artistic pioneers in the Kuomintang-controlled areas have all played a positive role in promoting the development of revolutionary literature and art in the Soviet area. The introduction of Soviet culture and the beginning of the Soviet area's own cultural construction also tried to remove obstacles for the rapid development of revolutionary literature and art.The third section explores the way to further explain the exploration and attempt made by the revolutionary art of the Central Soviet Area in terms of communication discourse, communication type and group composition. The spread of revolutionary art in the Soviet area has not only promoted the modernization of traditional artistic discourse and the popularization of elite artistic discourse, but also experienced the practical dilemma in the process of two discourse turns.Under specific historical conditions,Soviet art has undergone corresponding changes in mass communication, organizational communication and interpersonal communication types, which have unique characteristics of Soviet art communication. The group composition of artistic communication can be divided into "communication leaders" and "communication followers",the former can be divided into three categories: theoretical leaders, artistic talents and communication pioneers, while the latter is dominated by soldiers, workers and peasants, and intellectuals.Through the specific discussion, the composition characteristics of these communication groups are analyzed. The second chapter focuses on the epochal representation of the revolutionary art in the Soviet Area from the perspectives of form, landscape and style. The first section is morphological study. The dissemination forms of revolutionary art in the Soviet area can be divided into two categories: static art forms and dynamic art forms. The former includes painting, calligraphy, stone carving and seal carving, architecture, photography and art design, while the latter includes music, dance and song and dance, opera and opera. It is believed that the communicative forms of revolutionary art in the Soviet Area are characterized by rich variety, strong communicative power, prominent characteristics of the times and strong revolutionary character. The second section is landscape research. In the process of transformation from traditional rural society to revolutionary society in the Soviet area, the dissemination of revolutionary art uses comprehensive audiovisual means.Through the artistic themes and expressions easily understood by workers, peasants and soldiers,it creates a unique landscape of land, body and weapons, and creates a three-dimensional and sensible revolutionary atmosphere in the media. The third section is the analysis of development path.Elaborates the style characteristics of Soviet revolutionary art in the dissemination, and discusses the influence of this style on the follow-up development of revolutionary art.The style of revolutionary art in the Soviet Area is characterized by two individualities, namely, fighting art and red art.The "fighting" characteristic of the revolutionary art in the Soviet Area practised aesthetic politicization and utilitarianism;the exploration and expression of the "red" theme was a major achievement of the dissemination of the revolutionary art in the Soviet Area.During the Soviet period, the "red art" focused on depicting and clarifying the inseparable flesh-and-blood relationship between the Communist Party and the people, and achieved the social value of the art dissemination activities.Chapter three summarizes the Soviet experience of revolutionary art communication from the aspects of mode, effect and evaluation. The dissemination of revolutionary art in the Central Soviet Area has formed the classical mode of communication in the local social reality, which can be divided into two categories: operation mode and regulation mode.Operational modes include:simplification of communication content, organization of communication channels, aggregation of communication groups and opening of communication field;regulatory modes include popularization of communication strategy, mutual melting of communication identity and ritualization of communication process. In the research of communication effect, first of all,it explains how art communication in Soviet Area serves the revolutionary movement in Soviet Area society from the proposition of "revolutionary issues" and the shaping of "Red Army myth".Secondly, the integration function of Soviet art communication to revolutionary society is demonstrated by taking society and individual as objects. In addition, from the perspective of synchronicity and diachrony, this paper evaluates the effect of art communication in the Soviet Area in a two-sided way.In the aspect of value evaluation, the study holds that the dissemination of revolutionary art in the Soviet Area has obtained rich practical results and valuable lessons. It is of great practical significance for contemporary art works to continue to inherit the revolutionary spirit. An in-depth study of the interactive relationship between art communication and social development will help us to understand the current red art communication ecology and grasp the direction of China's art development. The paper holds that the artistic communication of appealing to audiovisual senses in the local context constitutes a tension relationship between the development of revolutionary society and mutual influence. When the backward rural society meets the avant-garde revolutionary art,the rural society in the agrarian revolution shows a peculiar revolutionary audio-visual landscape.Art communication not only plays the role of creating momentum for the revolutionary movement, but also performs the social responsibility of stabilizing the new order. In the process of adapting to the social ecology of the agrarian revolution, the revolutionary art in the Soviet area developed its unique communication experience and formed its artistic personality with the characteristics of the times.
